Does defensive matchup in the new system equals rebounding matchup as well?

The ratings calculation have not been modified to reflect the new GE changes. This new addition (great addition :p ) will make the def ratings absolutely useless.
Do you plan to update the ratings calculation for the next season's start ?

With the new menu's and whatforth, do you think it might be a good idea for everyone to receive a BB-mail directing them or at least making them aware that a new news article exists.

Just thinking allowed in one other game I play if i receive a mail from a fellow manager I have an envelope with a number next to it indicating how many mails.... if the mail comes from the game makers or is sufficiently important enough to try and get the user to read it straight away I get the same envelope this time with an exclamation mark on top so I should (if i was paying attention) be immediately drawn to it.

As a lot of the announcements can and will likely effect the prices that players are being sold for I think this would be a welcome addition so no-body can say they weren't aware etc.

*Awaits being told to put this in the suggestions forum...

Got so worried, i decided to add something relevant to the thread!

Great new addition!!!! Now did you get that brown envelope safely Charles!!

I would much rather see News with coloured back round for "unread" new news, first time you login after news had appeared- let's say light blue, cause yelliow etc, is used when something doesn't work as it should, as an emergency news. It would be better than BB-mail cause that would push other mails lower and lower and I'm sure there are very frequent mailers whcih wouldn't welcome that.

The natural interpretation would be that if player A plays PF on D and PG on offense, then he'll be matched up against the opposing PF for defensive board and against PG for offensive boards.

(but I agree this could be clarified)

While I agree, I remeber something being said about fouls assigned tothe "original defender" so this is a legitimate question and sadly the only Floid's post in this thread that has some legs. I assume yes is the answer on the other hand the opposite case would be great for my current roster:)

Damn talkative parrot ! :p

(112356.8) and (112356.10)

Has it been retuned since then ?
And more importantly how will the def ratings look like next season ?

not everyone has "supporter", so it would be a money first action for trial which has never been the case with buzzerbeater.

afaik, the BB wanted to use the PL also as a test section when they release it and normaly such information also get shared in the community and a serious test could avoid such things like the first release of the new engine.

PS: What about the normal fouls, are they reduced or did we had to expect a lot more foul trouble through additional 2+1 fouls?

Hi, (first of all sorry for my written English (I understand it very well, but I have serious grammatical problems lol) )

IMHO, I think that foul troubles will not increase, but we will see that these missed shots by opponents fouls that become into free throws and missed shoot, will be (more common in some percentage) point scorer + 1 free throw.
But again, that is my opinion.

And one last thing, what about this?:

Will the and1 fouls be tested in scrimmages first or are they implemented straight away???

What about PL's?

Do the changes will not be available for testing in the private leagues?

This is great news. That is the kind of improvement the BBs should always pursue. BB for me should be all about tactics, and now this new feature adds a new dimension to the game. Pretty cool.
You should start thinking about a way for players train defence (outside or inside) disregarding their positions or their height. I mean, it could be granted the option of training both inside and outside defences at the same time. It could be a slower training but it could be possible, because today is almost impossible to make a PG a good inside defender and a C a good outside defender.

I'm not agree with that, just do it when the player is 18, most of managers who train multiskill player do that. To make great players you have to make sacrifices. . I like combination as their are, but improvements are always welcome.

Kudos to the BBs for another great tactical development.

What I really like about this news post is the "and 1." It has certainly been a long time coming that the refs see the hacking my players take as they go up for dunks in the crowd or try a driving layup or when they fly home to slam in a rebound while being guarded closely.

Now all that is needed is a trapping option and a breakaway after a steal.
