the draw for 1/8 is out and it looks like whoever/whatever comes up with matchups is doing all they can to get league II team into semi-finals :D At most 4 Naismith teams will make it into quarters, and the only lucky one that didnt get a matchupo with another Naismith team was RiP

Lightning Thunder was not to be denied the quarterfinals, and gave Flying Yorts an 85-49 trashing in the Storms Arena.

Fill-in Eero Illikainen was not a factor, but 4 Thunder players posted double-doubles en route to the cup win. Top honors went to PG Morgan Gasbarri, who despite finding himself penciled in at C, put up 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Gasbarri shouted his trademark "Come ti piacciono le mele?!?!?" after a viscous dunk in the second quarter.

Flying Yorts will absorb the loss, bank the enthusiasm and try to hold off league-mate Thunder for II.1's final playoff spot.

Jiří Smolka tried his best to inspire his team to a victory, but his 12 points and 11 rebounds were not enough. Zero Yort's players shot 50% or better from the field, and as a team hit just 27% for the game.

Season 13. Before Season 10, inclusive, country rankings did not exist. So it may have been possible but arguable.

Season 13 is the only season by fact that the top 4 Canadian teams were in the Final 4.

Won the semi final but lost Laurent for 2 weeks. I'm not sure if I could have hung with PK but definitely no chance now.
