Maybe, it would be better if BBs explained to us in finer detail, how the GE is supposed to work, because you're right, we're drawing coclusions here, obviously speculating on different(probably desired) end products.

So apart from the, straight up, increase in blocked/altered shots, should we expect:

* a proportionate demise in %s, from post up shots, when conditions allow it?

* good SBing bigs, forcing their counterparts take more mid range shots?

* good SBing bigs forcing the attacking team take more 3p shots, even if LI is selected?

This guy has 12 in shotblocking(I know this because his manager tried to sell it for many days befroe finding a buyer)
(8197189)
You can see how much blocks he recorded. And for the skills he have, without shot blocking he would earn 15-20k less(there are two guys on the market on his same IS-ID-REB,one with a 42,7 k salary and mediocre in shotblocking, the other with a 49,1 k salary with respectable shotblocking)
Two Other guys with same IS-ID-REB and strong in shotblocking have 52,2 and 53,2k salary

Wow, yeah, he had 3 blocks last game and held his opposing C to a 2-17 shooting performance. Clearly that shotblocking is useless - I mean, 12 SB? Probably lower than the IS he's facing, and lower than his ID, probably IS or RB as well.

Wow,yeah,0 blocks in the previous games
But if you want to train shotblocking,I won't stop you from doing it

Oh, I didn't realize that. If it happened in the two previous games, then of course there's no change implemented. I mean, after all, BB is a single-player experience and those three games so far are the entirety of the game world. It's not like we have a large MMO type game where we can look at a larger result set to draw conclusions - no, sir, we have this guy with less SB than his opponents' IS for sure and he had two games without blocks! It's a travesty, I tell you.

Nice to see how do you not have any idea of what it means looking at the salary/performance ratio
Do you want an 75 k guy with 12-14-14 in IS-ID-REB and 13/14 SB or a 75 kguy with 15-15-15 or 16-15-14 in IS-ID-REB with 7 SB??

I don't speak for everyone, but personally I would take the guy who held the opposing center to 2-17 shooting, but I kind of actually value stopping the opposition from scoring rather than just looking for one of the trillions of clones of Gigantor the DonkeyDunker to build a team around. Besides, talking about salary/performance of big men without looking at the six guard skills is almost as pointless as deciding a feature works without bothering to investigate it.

Nice way to avoid to answer the question, since the answer is NOT the guy with lesser IS-ID(ID being the primary skill to defend an opposing big man)-REB

ID is one of the defensive skills, but SB and particularly OD matter quite a bit. But you asked me a question about which I'd prefer and frankly without knowing the rest of his skills there's no way at all to answer that, but I'd be much more likely to go with a 12-14-14-13 guy than 15-15-15-7 if it came down to it.

But you're the one who brought up salary/performance, while having a 34 year old center who is currently making almost 34k/week and has NEVER in his career had 10 assists total in a season. You'll have to forgive me if I'm not going to feel bad for not wanting to have the same kind of players that you seem to champion.

Or one bad manager who doesn't have to fight on the market for bad players. (Huuuuuge hint: you)

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Don't worry I won't fight for a 14 SB player
You can take it if you want(and get destoryed by your counterparts, but that's not a thing I have to worry about)

If I had to choose between 12-14-14-13 and 15-15-15-7 (whatever are the outside skills), I would choose... 15-14-13-13 without any hesitation (same salary I think) :)

1 pop in Reb doesn't worh as 3 pop in IS in salary for a big man.15-14-13-13 will have an higher salary than 75k
There is a 15-14-13-12 player actually on the market with an 82,6k salary, and with 13 in Sb his salary would be higher than that(likely around 90k or something more)
