Interesting data. I'd agree that passing will not save the day here, the only hope I have is basically handling+driving on the shooter. Which is why GDP is bad for my 40% plans, since the resulting skill profile is so unique to Motion (due to potential limitations) that I don't see what else such players could be good for. Maybe I'll have to settle for 35% then and add some inside threat, sigh.

Princeton with good JS/JR on your big men can help somewhat with that, though I can't see 40% for the *team* being viable at a high level. You might be able to get 40% semi-regularly out of those two positions at least.

If the problem is that teams can't use outside offenses effectively, then I agree that decreasing the cost of JS and JR (and increasing their training speed) is a much better solution. We certainly need to improve the percentages of outside shooting in general, but this guessing game change will just decrease percentages from inside offenses.

I would guess that most look inside offenses will still use this tactic as the outside offenses are still ineffective against good teams, just now with a penalty.

If I was running buzzerbeater and caring about user retention and the large numbers of users leaving, I think I would be hesitant to implement an arbitrary solution which will effect the majority of users who have all spent years building their teams and players to perform under the assumptions of the current game engine. Now our players become less effective and less valuable on the TL. How many people will spend the years rebuilding their teams versus just quitting out of frustration?

There are many other factors that make this solution pretty bad - just think of the time you have to spend for scouting your opponents and - in my opinion the worst mistake - using this feature on mobile devices will be a pain in the ass. Setting proper lineups on a mobile device is the most complicated thing to do in this game.

Cheap or not you still have to pay salaries for them so it's still expensive to maintain balanced team.

Sorry, bad topic...

(24641) weeehh, 46 points for guards... :)

Again my "minor" questions...

- NT matches will possible?
- Which tactics inside/outside/ neutral focus? I think the LI and Motion is neutral tactics - see example!!
and new outsisede/inside tactics?
Why not ask about specific tactics?
- Most of the teams play fast .. do not think that it is easy to hit? Same attacking focus... play 80-90% Li or Rng..
- Cause what advantage plus TS or HCA?

thanks

In a slower paced offense more of the shot clock gets used, thus you have to play defense for longer stretches of time without breaking down and giving up an easy shot. I assume BB adjusting to a slower pace would mean less open looks late in the shot clock.

This is absolutely the worst thing they can throw.. How come the owner of BB just turn down LI or low post, be a man about it. stop beating around the bush. We don't need a pre game guessing game. It a lot more other things that could be done for BB .I'm not going to use this feature. How does it help the team, does help improve Enthu?

IF not then what's the point.? Just be a man about it about and lower Li dominance. This would improve the market and managers could make more money off more differ styles of players, more user will come back.. Its just a one way game and it lack substance..

Im tired of sounding like villain in red but this a one way game. Until the top of BB get the point in their head to allow diverse teams to perform in same dominance as Li and lowpost. The market going to stay dead nothing but repeat over priced players . I'm sorry but it needs to be said. A lot are trying to get the game differ with training for patient and r&g. Why do we need some pre game mini game just be effective or short changed? Are we not breaking our back with 40K$+ wage s for simple basic guard just play these tactics. I don't know anymore. Does this guy want bring in user or scare them away.?

well, you can see tactics after the game, so i expected that. Wonder if gdp has impact on game ratings, probably should?

Here is a boxscore from the first day of GDP-games: (65374460)l

If I'm reading that right, outside isolation is, apparently, not outside focused.

in real basketball it should be from neutral to inside, more like inside. Since isolated player more often drives to rim than shots from outside. So if he chosed like outside focus and his guards played more closely than needed it was easier for oponent to drive to basket. Also at screen they needed either to split or to go under screen to defend penetration, but since he chosed outside defenders went over the screen ?:D
