Training wouldn't change: it would only affect who's getting trained and based on which minutes. As I said you can make it automatic, just attributing the 144 training minutes to the players who had the most minutes at the position. For example, single position training for OD, these are the minutes played: A=74 B=48 C=46 D=24.
A and B get 48.0 minutes of training (48+), C gets 46 and D gets 2. Max training minutes = 144.

Marin agreed to do an "Ask Marin Anything", so I think some of the things you guys have brought up could easily be brought up to him and you could ask him about the possible implementation of some of these.

I'm pretty sure I've read the answer to my questions before. We need to prioritise... I'm alone... yadda yadda ya

Working on stuff like the website and the interface is different from the back end (bugs in scheduled processes, GE changes, maintenance etc.). Marin should just keep working on the back end and let someone else, someone who can do this professionally, maybe from the userbase, make the site mobile friendly, refresh the graphics a little if possible and redo the forums AND chat.

I've seen questions about it in the past and Marin replied BB can't pay much and whatever. So here are some questions:
- What happened to BB-Simone
- Can he get some quotes for redoing the site to be mobile friendly with a working viewer and better forums and chat and let us know how much it would cost to get a third party to do it? Then we can discuss ways to fund the amount that is not possible to cover with the game revenues

Yeah, note that this seems an improvement compared to the current system, but it actually isn't, because you still have the difficulty of 3 competitive games AND you need to make sure the trainees are among those getting trained. If easier, instead of using the 144/288 minute cut, you can just select the 3 players with the most minutes.

As a tiebreaker, you'd go with age > potential > salary > ID. This is because potentially you have multiple players with the same minutes: for example in this system you may have 4 players all on 48.0 and whatever the system only 3 will get trained.

It is more complicated than the current system, but 3 competitive games would be much harder for trainers.

Disagree. The game stuff should not protect newcomers from msking miskakes besides giving some reccommendations. Instead, there should be an option of team restart, so ones who messed their team from the beginning could easily start over from scratch with a new one in case the've messed it all.

Two ideas that have not been discussed:

~ Give new users a drafting help with starting scouting points and/or free group demonstration and scouting combine. Imagine starting a new team after the all-star weekend and having a high draft pick but lack the knowledge and the scouting points to make a good pick. Honestly, I have always hated how much money you have to throw at scouting just for basic draftee information. Let's give the new users a chance and not have the best players going to tanking veteran users who have millions saved up and load of scouting points.

~ First six weeks or more the BB will offer new owners temporary topline secondary staff that will be paid by the league helping keep the team in tiptop shape as the new owner figures out how to manage their team. The topline Youth Trainer will help new owners get some extra pops while they foolishly wasting training 90 minutes of training on a 24yr old 4k salary player with star potential.

The advantage of these changes is the little effect they will have on the game's economic market. The exception being that new users can now focus their budget more on the transfer market and arena expansion.

So you can try until you have a NT hopeful player in your starting team? It's rare but I have seen new teams with a 18yo or 19yo MVP or HoF with a decent salary. People seem to forget that the initial players are random, so if you get a 32yo lvl 4 potential he may suck, but if you get the SAME player 18yo and lvl 10 potential he may be worth millions (if it's at the beginning of the season). There are obvious examples of this from the Utopia beginning: someone with 18yo HoF player made millions right off the bat by selling said player, while everyone else was playing with pocket money.

So no thanks.

You need to be presented with the information to make an informed decision. If you don't and you feel like you've screwed up you are free to go bot and ask for a new team after that. Just cancelling the team and getting a new one right away sounds like a surefire way to increase cheating and borderline behaviour. You have the Tutorial to show you the ropes and you can either ask or look for help. That's the right way in my eyes.
