I believe that the TV revenue will come at the next weekly economic update, which is on the 18th at 2:00 am. You will get an extra $35,000, taking your weekly profit to 58,000, or a 16 % increase compared to your stated figure from last season.

I think arena expansion is still a good way to go, as the transfer market seems to have hit a brick wall, especially for mid-priced players. I just saw a 20 year old MVP potential SG with decent skills go for $150 000. Three weeks ago that same cat would have gone for at least 5 times that much. So while it might be a buyer's market right now, who's to say when the sellers will have their day in the sun again.

My first game was away so I can't help you out with any numbers, but I will post what happened after Tuesday's game.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Fair points, and useful. But remember that my TV income last season was a total of $1.2M, or an additional $100,000 profit per week if it were averaged out. My fear is that while everyone's income will be affected, the very top teams (above me) and the division 2 teams (below me) will not be as badly affected proportionately as the teams in my condition - lower quality teams struggling to compete in the highest divisions.

Last year after a normal week:
+200 000$ (couting everything like cup or B3's)

This season:
- 50 000$ (counting everything again).

Glad I kept a lot of money just before this changes ...

It's way too early to say that already.

You'll always earn less money in the first weeks, because the fans aren't that happy yet. Less merchandise, less arena income. Wait untill you won a few matches in a row, that will give you at least the 50k more. Add another 25k extra when you win your cupmatch and you are in the + already.

This is ridiculous... fans from sports I watch turn out early season whilst optimism is high from the break between seasons.... if anything the attendences should be higher at the beginning than mid-way through the season... (and drop off faster depending on how team is doing on-court) then towards playoffs pick up steam again...

If someones just won a trophy there should be absolutely no reason whatsoever to see a drop in fans.

Hmm I agree with that, but from my experience the income is less in the first weeks (that might be due to the loss in the PO too), I can't speak for others of course. But in HT they reset the fan mood in off season, so I kind of expected that here too, but i'm not sure though.

slightly different but along the same lines...

if your team played a 2 legged semi final.... won the first leg 120-60 then fielded scrubs and lost by 10-20 in the second game.... do you think that fans would boycott the final??

that is in essence what happens here.... no way would the teams fans not show up to witness the finale to their teams season....

if the arena attendence is truly going to reflect fan sentiment then it is scenarios like this that need to be addressed....

STH is another for debate... how/why a team cant improve beyond 4000 ish?

A franchise gathers momentum - take Springlfield Drunkers or Toroo... both already household names in this game... they attract fans/supporters from outside their own country.

Take Real Madrid - fans travel from miles to go and watch games.. bottom line is this is an example of an elite real life franchise and the top bracket in BB seems to be a Recreativo Huelva!

Just got the financials for the week, and I didn't notice tv revenue. It would be great if it could be denoted somewhere on the page, just so we can see it is actually coming in.
On the other hand, my merchandise went through the roof (well, not really through the roof but it was the highest it has ever been) and I haven't even played a home game yet.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.
