I deleted my message since, obviously, you know what you're doing. I am curious what his skills are (maybe you can bb mail them to me since I'll likely relegate out this season?), but here are my guesses:

JS - 14
JR - 6
OD- 14
PA - 10
IS - 12
ID - 12
RB - 8
BL - 4

I figure that with a low salary, he probably has poor jump range, rebounding and blocking since those would boost his salary quite a bit. So, I imagine that we'd all want a SF who has good inside and outside defense to guard against any tactic. And a versatile scorer with JS and IS. Good passing for flow. And likely pretty good driving and handling.

I'm sure I'm missing something though.

Similar thing with my purchase of Brian Madison. He had 104 skill points and a 25k salary, and was too unique of a player to pass up on.

What is getting crazy, is that there are probably a half dozen or more of these "unique" 100+ skill point players in this one league here, right now. So are we really that big an outlier compared to what's happening in other leagues (American and otherwise), or are these players just more common than they were a couple seasons ago? I'm wondering aloud, I don't know that I have an answer.

Yeah, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of Toronto's guards aren't pretty close or there already too. And I will vouch for having three guys who are 100+ and another who is mid-90's, and any of them could start at SF. And there have to be more lurking.

I think we are probably ahead of the curve as a D.III league, but I'd also say this is the direction things are going and probably the norm in a couple seasons maybe? There is more and more of this kind of talent on the TL every day, and more and more managers are valuing these kinds of players.

About to demote? You haven't been around this game long enough.

No hard feelings.
