It was a good game. The better team won. Kind of a joke my PF took 29 shots and never got to the line. But we had 3 chances to win it and muffed each one. Can't really complain about that. And it probably makes up for the last second win we had at the start of the season.
We're a player or two short, but I keep getting ninjaed on the TL. Pretty much selling out the arena and making good money. Only games we got squashed in were one where the other team played normal and another where one player scored 53 points. Not sure how long the fans will put up with it, but I'm not unhappy.
Well, as far as the fouling goes, Speed doesn't foul too often. Probably more than zero on 29 shots (though I think the backup would have been in some), but my team averages a small number of fouls per game.
It was definitely a good game. Not an entertaining one to watch, I'd imagine. I don't know what was up with Schur off the bench in particular - he's two seasons removed from winning the three point contest and he's been at 46.8% from downtown at worst the last three seasons in the league, but he was missing shot after shot even when defended by PFs. Heck, my PG position was supposedly at 96.6 points per 100 shots and yet Cline goes 0-8 and Schur was 1-12 (1-8) while in at PG. Good thing I was scared enough of your defense to not risk playing Wray in this game, because I'm sure that the 10 minutes Wray played Vireca would have put up at least 15 points.
It's just sad the way the game played out. If I had won because whoever was being guarded by your PF at SF from outside in the 3-2 started raining threes, that would be fair. If you had won because you did the right GDP, apparently the right defense and my players couldn't shoot me out of it, that would be fair. For you to lose because my big man stuck at SF because I'm still training shotblocking decides to drive the lane and actually hit with two seconds left to force OT, and then to have one of the engine's screwy end of game steals where the clock essentially runs out because the engine doesn't have late game logic is just not cool. I was pretty confident with the 11 seconds remaining because I didn't expect to give up two threes and I have good free throw shooting mostly, but the way it played out didn't do your team justice.
I am so, so tired of being stuck running patient, too.
