One of the USA NT players has 9 in shotblocking, and has a salary of between $40K and $50K

Are you telling me that $20K-$30K of that $40K-$50K is from shotblocking alone?

I'd be amazed. BB-Charles even said that with multiskills the wages would actually be lower than when a player is briliant in 1 or a few skills.

So I doubt a 4 times (ID,IS,REB and SB) strong (level 8) would ask more wage then a 2 times level 10 (IS,REB), 1 time level 11 (ID) and 1 time level 1 (SB)...

And if you take a player with 1 level 15 (eg IS) and 2 times level 8 (like REB and ID) and 1 time level 1 (SB), he will ask more wage still!

I might doubt between the first 2 players, but eventually go for the first to play in my team, the third here has no change at all to get chosen by me...

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

I wouldn't say that $20K-$30K is for SB. I would say that shotblocking affect no more than $20K and no less than $10K(if the Player has a 1 in SB). In english I cant explain this very well but I have the evidence to support my opinion.

In fact, I have proved this with my own players and its a fact that SB affects very much on wages...

From my experience I would say that RB is the most wage intensive skill... closely followed by JR... I'd be interested to hear some NT managers opinions on this.... or can we assume they are all nearly the same and we are all just miscalculating because we dont know the true sublevels?

i think i agree with this person,

because even if your good in SB and bad inside D most likely this player would get into foul trouble.

having superior inside D has more skills in positioning and even help defense, now if he is more adept in sb than ID probably he would be blocking no matter what the timing is.

as i have seen a lot of defensive guys who can lock down opponents but not all of them can or are shot blockers.

but how they charge, could it be a certer who has superior SB ask more money than a PF?

if that's the case, then maybe the problem is about the skill balance...

do i really think i have to have a stupendous shotblocker in order to block a strong inside shooter? or to average 2-3 bpg in a league with strong inside shooters? i don't want to... but i'm close to be getting at it...

yes as someone who already mention it earlier,

i think the game engine works diffferently on a player with more balance skills than someone who has one or 2 superior skills.

as i have said i have a pg who has respectable blocking skills and i was shock to see him average 2 blocks a game

i think having a nice level of sb and id can help you succeed in even affecting the opponents shot :D

Trust me, if I show you the habilities of my 4 centers you wouldn't believe their wages and you would think just like me...something its wrong...or(and) unfair...

I recently sold a player with proficient shot blocking and his salary was around 18,000. He also had prominent inside shot and inside d and prolific rebounding.

You are forgetting that sub-levels can have an impact on salary. Your player may be the same on paper, but behind the scenes their level may be different. Also, salaries are updated infrequently.

I actually think you get better performance and a lower salary with more balanced players. And this includes having a decent level of shot blocking for inside guys.

I can't say the habilities of eny of my Centers but I can tell that one of my NT players, wage less than 18.000 and he is much better than your player recently sold. My player besides has a 2 on SB.

that says a lot.
