nobody say to you that you have to build the arena exactly now you say it ....but i thought that i can change the price of tickets to maximum and then if the arena is full to build again

Just so you are aware, the price/attendance is non-linear.
So for example if you have a ticket price at $20 and get 1,000 people, if it was linear then at $10 you would expect 2,000 people ($20k revenue either way).
However in BB at $10 you might expect 4,000 people ($40k revenue). Note I don't know the exact %, this is just an example.

So there's a lot of benefit to expanding the arena even if your tickets aren't at full price.

ast days i spent 600k on stuff for example because i wanted at least 5 level coach since my trainees are already 20yo and maybe its possible to be u21 NT ...also, i bought 2 good bulgarian players for 600k.... once i built the arena and it was very expensive but maybe it was mistake to make VIP places also i have all kind of stuff and i pay 100k each week and i am not sure if i need all kind of stuff or not ...for example the dietary guy is under question

Yeah it's fine to spend some money if you have good NT/U21 prospects or a long-term player for your own team. It's unlikely the diet/nutritionist is worth it, but it depends on their salary, how much you want to spend, what the U21 coach thinks and so on.

i have 100k salaries for all the staff which i think is good because i optimized it a lot last days but i spent 600k for buying staff... i hope i can make some savings but i am not sure about that since everything is expensive nowadays

$100k is a lot for staff, even for an U21 prospect. So if in a couple of weeks you're still stuck financially I would review that to see if you could make savings.

Without looking at your actual economy I suspect you will be ok. As I said when paying the salary floor it's usually quite easy to make money, and at the start of the season you also get money for winning BBM and cup games. In a few weeks your economy will likely look better.

thanks
ok, i will try to optimize the ticket price ;)
we are now voting for coach so after that i will see his opinion for my players and decide more things about the staff... i also think the finance will be better because only my PR 7th level was 50k salary each week :) also, i spent 40k every week for draft because i had 1st choice but i am not so happy with the players so i will not make the same mistake and now i am paying 10k.... so without the salary floor the things would be a lot optimized ...but now with the floor its not so much :P but anyway i think i will collect something and now i am trying to buy some players with 10k+ salary to win more games... and i will wait for the arena then ....when i make the arena 20k people, then i will spend maybe for other things like gym, medical center or something
but it was a mistake not building arena first which would guarantee financial stability

I would advise you to sack that PR guy ._.

You've got a small arena, your players' salaries are so low, and you're in Div III. You would probably have 40k more net income a week if you sacked him and kept a level 1 PR. The main purpose of a PR manager is to earn you more money, but you are currently paying him more than the extra revenue he can earn you. That's not a very good business decision IMO.

I personally just use a level 1.

Apparently according to threads I've come across in this forum, the biggest effect of the PR manager is reducing the decrease in attendance after you lose a big game (like losing to a rival or losing a TV game). But a quick look at the numbers makes me wonder if it's necessary - my game against the #2 team in the other conference had similar numbers to the #3 team in mine (and the former has a higher national rank). But I actually won the away game before the game against the #2 team, while I lost against my league rival (by 19 points too) just before the game against the #3 ranked team... The difference between both games was $3k (501k vs 498k). If I can achieve that with a level 1 staff, I don't think even bother getting anything more than that is necessary to combat the drop in revenue (I'm in Div I with a 22k pax arena btw).

Another effect I've read of is combating the loss of attendance when you relegate. I don't have numbers to back that up but if it's effective then you only need to hire one if you ever relegate.

That said, according to this thread, it seems that aside from specialty, it seems that it's not necessary to get anything higher than level 3: (316991.1).

Still, my personal opinion is to just use level 1 unless you need one with specialty. If you do then it seems like you should go no higher than level 3.

ok, thanks :) maybe i will change my PR since i already lost my rival match in the 1st round in the league so he will not help me much :) i bought some players because of the salary floor after 2 days so i think i will win easily most of the matches and i will not need so much pr...

Hi guys!

I'm looking for insight and opinions as to why I lost this game exactly:

https://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/124420227/boxscore.aspx

I'm not complaining or being salty, I am genuinely interested in some fresh eyes on the matter, cause however I look at it I believe I should have won this game.

Thanks in advance

I am not the best person to analyze games, but pretty curious what are the reasons which made you think that you'd definitely have won this match? Aside from starter salaries and him making the wrong GDP.

I love this game but I’m currently in a BBM Game that is souring me on this whole experience. My opponent (who is ranked higher than me) didn’t set a lineup and I’m playing lucky fans. It’s half time, I’m up big…. But I have 43 team fouls. My starting SG fouled out in just 7 minutes. The backup SG has 5 fouls! I think I had 1 person foul out all last season. Clearly this is computer assistance trying to turn this into a lucky fan vs lucky fan game (I can assume so I don’t end up with a massive +/- for BBM), but this is a very disheartening look into the game engine.

Edit: turns out it defaults to a 50-0 win when there’s a forfeit. The game engine still made me mad haha.
