Great game tonight Elmacca well played. It was a great game to watch and I especially did not expect you to crunch as well.

It was very close for all but the last minute, wasn't it? Congrats on the win. I had no choice but to crunch after shipping out 180k or so of salary in the last few weeks. The limit of my playoff ambitions this time around was the second payday against the firemen. All the best against Innes and co...

Nice report, that was interesting to read and cool to see my team leading at least one of the defensive stats for this season. Thanks for that mate :)

Thanks mate, hopefully I can replicate my S34 Cup run where I knocked out Erks and yourself ;)

The Buzzermanager report names Innes MVP based on the Efficiency stat but I don't think he's played enough games for serious consideration, will probably go to one of the Erks.

Well, I guess this is goodbye. More of an au revoir than an adieu I hope. This may be a self indulgent post but as reigning champion I'm going to go ahead with it anyway.

I'd be lying if I said this was unexpected. I think most of you will suspect it was tanking, and while I wouldn't use that word, I can see why others would use it.

I decided at the end of last season that I couldn't possibly win a third. Having spent big on Kuzniar I hadn't the financial muscle to replace the one or two players I needed to replace. Surviving with the players I had left and a couple of fill ins for a season seemed like a waste. Three months is quite a chunk of time and quite frankly after three trophies in two seasons I just didn't want to do it. So I decided a complete rebuild was necessary in order for me to compete again as soon as possible.

As the season went on I felt I could show the BBs how easy it was to lose badly all season and still avoid their ridiculous anti tanking boycott. Without really having to try very hard I managed to win one game in each segment of the season, while also keeping my bank balance low, just in case I didn't manage the three wins. What I like to think is a very small two fingered salute to the BBs, even though they probably won't see it.

Now, what's next? You may have noticed I'm training atm. I have plans for them if I do keep them, though there's a possibility one or more of them may be swapped for other trainees. I do plan to return to the EBBL, though no doubt plenty of teams will try to stop me, but it won't be a one season stay for me in d2.
