Yo Red Peppers CHOKED that 4th qtr in true Pepper fashion

The Preyers got some home cooking by the officials at the beginning of the last quarter and started making some shots in the paint against the run of play up to that point. That was a good game and much better than the score indicated.

A real interesting round of games. Urban Flow going all in and winning is interesting. Bench Mob getting handled at home while also trying harder is eye opening. Fenway hanging with Belvidere is wild… but after further review Belvedere had a starter go down in 4 minutes & another starter foul out mid way through. Very odd. Chiefers vs Carolina didn’t feel right. I was probably in better position to win… I was home and I think i had slightly more enthusiasm. But some weird stuff occurred that wasn’t satisfying. But I’ll take the win I guess.

Anyone else having an income problem? It’s been a struggle for like 4 seasons. I’m better but still lag the league average by a bit. Been slowly making tweaks… and expanding capacity,

I made some dumb spending decisions at the end of the season and I am playing a bit of catchup now. Part of the problem is that while training I am going through a bit of a fan boycott. Not severe yet, but that 20% makes a difference.

I had to let a really good center go earlier this season. It really sucked but the cash flow generated each week with him gone was so worth it

I picked up Lazos on my Utopia Team. Number 1 Trainee there! I wondered why you let him go.

League AVERAGE income is now nearly -16k…. No wonder this league is so competitive and stacked with talent! Cup matches/BBM are pretty much must wins to keep things going sustainably

This sorta plays into my comment last week asking if anyone else has an income problem.

It looks like 6-7 teams are doing $5,000/weekly in scouting and the rest are doing $0. So from an expense side it’s salaries and if anyone is spending crazy on staff + arena infrastructure causing these metrics to be way out of whack.

My theory is Urban Flow & Belvedere have been around for many years and have lots of expenses - some which increase their merch and attendance to they have an offsetting effect. Also, Urban Flow’s players are all 30+ so he doesn’t spend on a trainer but rather just invests in game shape.

I am so so so so curious what their net income/loss is each week though because my gut is they’re skewing our results one way or the other .

I stopped investing in Scouting costs. I have a strong young core that’s currently developing (obviously not D3 Ready)

We were netting over $100k a week, just made an acquisition so now we are about $86k a week.
