Two questions for Future NBA...

1) I think that as long as you know what lineups to set how to scout your opponent and how to manage enthusiasm and how to pick players then i think that you should be able to attempt to become NT

Why (be specific please) should managers believe that you know how to scout an opponent, pick players and manage enthusiasm? You not only failed to promote out of Division IV last season but squeaked into the playoffs with a losing record (10-12) and then got demolished in the first round. Some managers are very quick learners, your record suggests that you're not one of these managers please explain why you think that you record is not indicative of your skills as a manager.

Second question: Much of the more specific discussions about player development and u21 and NT tactics happen on the off-site forum so that sensitive information is only available to Canadian managers. Details about opponents and ideas about to approach national team tactical decisions are also posted there. Why have you never bothered to join and read or participate in these crucial national team discussions?

Question for everyone:

What are your specific and realistic goals for the national team during your two season tenure as NT coach?

Considering we will have HCA, my goal would be to advance directly to worlds by reaching the finals of the Americas. To be honest though, I really don't know how realistic this is. There are some teams in the Americas that are much better than us, including World Champions, Chile. However, as my backup goal, I would shoot to advance to the repechage and advance to worlds that way. I think it was a good idea to go to consolations this year, but you can't just do that every season. At some point, you have to risk it and go for it all. The team should be better now than 2 seasons ago as well, so we shouldn't have as much trouble in the Americas tourney as we did 2 seasons ago.

1) I was trying to tank last season as i had found a gem in my draft list. but i did not get him and since i had gotten rid of alll my star players (exept tommy Saint-amand) that othe team a the advantage plus the GS hasnt been all that good either because i didnt really try to manage GS that playoff was more forced on me than not forced on me.
as for believing if i can scout an oponent, pick players and manage enthusiasm it is somethign i cannot really prove.

2)I cannot register for the offsite forum because of some previous affairs

I am not running as a NT manager, but I love a good debate so will also answer some questions while asking other candidates, of course if its not a problem for you guys.

The most intriguing question that I heard so far is about cheerleaders:D, I would test them myself, thats a first. I would also take Futire's approach and pick 10 girls, 2 best at each position:D.

Ok, being serious.

What would you say is your biggest advantage over each candidate?

My goal is simply to continue to build and improve on what those before me did. Chris you had a great run and have put the team in a good place, I will look to continue on your solid ground work. As for actual goals I agree with Griffin in some ways, the team should have a realistic shot at qualifying for the worlds thru the repechage. The America's is going to be tough, but if possible advancing thru there would obviously be ideal.

Once the teams are all in place I will make a decision of whether to go for it in the Americas or look to position for the best shot thru the repechage. Obviously this plan could change at any given time based on the results, but I think it is really important to have a plan that considers alot of factors. As a realist I cannot see why we can make the worlds in the next two seasons, the team has talent and a few real quality guys moving up fast. All the while some of the other NT programs struggle with 'farms' and mon skilled monsters.

Care to explain?? We all know 'that you did not have sexual relations with that lady', so please fill us in. (Hope you are as old as me or the joke fails) :)

Do you see this as a problem for you? The off site forum is a way to communicate with other Canadian users and not have the info taken by other NT's. So not being able to use it may be a really big issue.

I have a longer name =D

serious part
I would probably be on the forums more often and id probably be more active.

P.S
plus for chearleaders( if we had them) i would just tell them to give the other teams star player a lap dance during the game. that should distrract him enough
