1. people complaining that "obvious" cheaters ained banned(but sometimes it is better to wait a bit to find all teams, and often obvious isn't obvious)
people will always complain, at least that way there will be evidence of those found other than having to "bother" the GMs all the time with questions, or not knowing what has happened, until after several weeks when a team is banned
2. People getting on the Pillory for nothing, which isn't a good feeling. Or more of case 1.(the mentioned deconstruction teams for example, or also lazy team without market knowledge who bid a lot to avoid an bidwar)
Not really an issue, getting on Pillory for nothing, you obvisouly refer to fine/adjustment, better feeling than not knowing what is happening with reported teams. At the end of the day, if someone has not done anything wrong, being on pillory with excuse next to them, transfer adjustment, is not really just a big deal
3. More Cheaters complaining about to harsh punishment, with pointing to other cases where they didn't know all facts.
That already happens, and current policy would apply, that GMs decisions are not to be discussed, hence you can just ignore those cheaters.
4 and player try to act in a grey area where the risk is maybe more valuable then the punishment
not sure i follow that point, can you please elaborate further?? thanks
5. No additional effect of scare for cheater, you already see that GM handling things and i think you don't need names for that.
exactly the point though, YOU DONT SEE GM HANDLING THINGS....you expect that he does, but no proof, but with pillory its exactly that you see things being handled. So not really an argument against Pillory, quite the contrary.
6. Not really useful informations for user, which lead to lot of missunderstandings. Because pillorys are used most times in online games, where there are temporarely bans, and more direkt fights so that it might be important to know when he comeback to protects your goods.
Yes, I agree that Pillory more relevant in those games, and more direct impact in those "live" games, but surely if you present more information that leads to less misunderstandings, its normally the other way round, less knowledge, secrecy and lack of information that leads to misunderstandings.
7. people complaining we don't do anything, because they miss the entrys etc.
People complain now, and chase the GMs all the time, cause there is no entry whatsoever, so the only way to find out is by contacting GMs all the time. While with Pillory you can refer them to the list/entry and make life easier for you guys.
thanks
