Yeah, so far African NTs were so good. If they do bad now it was totally the merge that fucked them!
Anybody considered that it's natural that countries with more managers have better NTs? It's like in reality, the USA has the best NT because there are more people playing basketball there than in the rest of the world.
Look at the scaredy cat, complaining about a sensible approach to a situation which might cause some users to leave. Do you feel the need to penalise others, just because you and Germany couldn't win anything with the NT despite all the long term planning?
The merge penalised them yes. As they were picking ahead of bots they were guaranteed to pick the best players in their drafts if they scouted properly. So they collectively could theoretically pick the best from a dozen drafts. Now they pick from 5 drafts and there are fewer bots.
The point is more general point about micronations. Merging just exacerbate the problem.
Maybe German BB users prefer no competition, maybe they prefer playing fodder at the NT level so they can tell themselves their high SB players do work at that level...until they don't. I don't know.
What problem does it cause you if micronations receive a guaranteed 4 trainable players (not necessarily the managers from those nations) each season? Is it going to make it easier for Germany to fail at the NT level? I don't think so. In fact you should just toss in 4 players for each nation and be done with it. Micros will benefit more and you Germans can stop whining that Senegal or Congo got an unfair advantage over you. Most of these players don't even go for more than 150k and likely less than 50k if they are 8 potential.
Note that, as in real life, the US equivalents of this game, Italy and Spain, will always have the advantage as they have many more drafts to pick from and will naturally get a much higher number of top prospects....
Edit: LOL they hired Morwood after you as the NT manager...I see...
