Thanks all!

Eeee, well it looks like I've done won a thing.

Unlucky / good game from Keepmugs though. Without that incorrect prediction logically the cup is yours (but I don't know how logical a game BB is always) if anyone values the points/100 I should've won that game more easily...

I dominated the first half a bit, and an 11 point HT lead is a decent margin, but was horrible in the 2nd. I just had to watch my lead slip away...It felt like I was losing for most of the 4th quarter but I can't guarantee I was.

With the time into the last second of the 4th quarter I was two points down and see the text "Evgenios Tsirigkidis sparks the offence with a pass to Phil Tewari..". I'm thinking "oh no, that's my 21y old trainee, he's missed everything in the game so far, I've lost..." He was supposed to play 8 minutes or so not the 36 he ended up with...anyway, that shot somehow went in (the only FG he made!) and we had OT (whew)

Overtime wasn't much of a spectacle from a neutral spectacle but at that point I'd accepted I probably didn't deserve it even if I did win so relaxed a bit.

Is it time to bin off Lelarge and put Tewari in given his heroics? (he ended up a +18 in the boxscore even though I felt horrible every time Hebert had a shot). Lelarge just an obvious bottler, injured in the semi final vs LIDL, the cup final, and fouled out in 26 minutes vs Lemon last year in the cup semi...I just can't trust this guy.

My last 5 years in the cup: semi, quarter, quarter, semi, WINNER (trophy)
I've probably thrown too many league games in that period in years I didn't have a real chance in, but I'd not have had myself in the top 3 this year either and I did it...But maybe next year maybe I'll concentrate on the league instead.

And B3? Oh shiiit (:| :D

Well despite the new NT coach rankings trashing my rep, I'm still claiming the opening game versus sixth-ranked Serbia as one of England's greatest ever wins!

(13574)

Unfortunately, the Poland result killed that season IIRC.

And yes, I was running a three guard offense as long ago as Season 15... I think Bidny, Costabile and Torres had OD ratings of 14, 15 and 13 to give you an idea of how times have changed...

At the moment the records for NT coaches only includes the season you were voted in, and not the second season. I would imagine they'd fix that as it seems quite pointless otherwise.

Hey Gully. We miss you...Coming back this year?

Playoff picture:
Tide of Fire (1) vs Ashington Showboaters (4)
The best team in England (to be decided?) vs literally the oldest team in England (the new overview page tells us this: http://www.buzzerbeater.com/country/14/overview.aspx). Ashington has 3 players with over 2.5m DMI, 2 of those internationals and the other Utopian so maybe he'd be one too. It's not a first round matchup I'd fancy, but winning away from home is a tough ask...

Roaring Lions (2) vs LIDLTallfellas (3)
Neither team looks fully maximised in it's current state, I make Lions favourites considering Adcock's game shape? I doubt either team poses much of a threat to whoever wins the above matchup, but we'll see.

Stinklemons (1) vs Keepmugs (4)
Lemon is now a legit 10 player deep team. Some of those trainees are starting to look special already despite their young age. Keepmugs have shown with their cup run (and unlucky loss) and even today beating Erks away that they won't be an easy out, but I'd be surprised if Lemon doesn't take this one (even with less effort). Mugs a starter short.

Galaxy Walkers (2) vs Gauson (3)
Do these guys end up playing each other every year? It seems like it to me.
Galaxy are the EBBL team that make the least sense to me, and Gauson seem like the team that always underperform the most...I'll back Gauson here for reasons unknown to myself also. The fact two of their top 5 (DMIwise at least) have been listed recently makes it seem there's not much internal confidence in the current team either...

Lemon to win the red side...Backing Ashington to win twice away is so dumb but I've just got a feeling? Lemon beats them though as he's got a better allround team than Lions. There's a prediction you can all hold against me.

Don't think so. I'm seeded to make the final, but I shouldn't be fancied to win it.

Cheers, I do need to start looking at the guards as Acerbi is in fact my best PG right now and Marichal is not so far behind.

The big man was really bought for the future, rather than for a playoff push, but I guess he'll come in handy anyway. Who knows.

Interesting that you think I have a good shot. I have been cruising all season, because it has become easier to train with older trainees and I have been trying to replace my older guys. I'd consider myself an underdog to Vecx considering the HCA situation.

What an end to the game! I'm surprised the GE managed to find a dunk for the final possession with a handful of seconds left as dunks are incredibly high percentage shots even in this game (it's like 90% chance of a score or a foul).
