And then there were none - in terms of undefeated teams with my kitties losing in an away TV match. Knew I was not going to make it for too long being undefeated.

Got no quibbles about the result - although a few stats jump out - I got 27 assists to 16, but also suffered 10 TOs compared to 1 and 20 fouls versus 9. Too bad there is no TV replay available in this televised match to verify things . . . .wait a minute . . .

Will be interesting to see who goes for the long cup run, and who focuses on the league instead.

I was surprised to see that because your boys looked to have matters well in hand, but that miss on tempo musta kicked in after intermission.

Now in the 30th renewal of the leagues oldest fixture the Generals surprised themselves. After seemingly built enough momentum by the middle of the 3rd and establishing a working margin of nine matters began to unravel. First Emolouga goes down for the evening. Then foul trouble kicks in on Webb eventually leading him to be disqualified with nine minutes to go leaving the responsibility for matters at the 4 in the hands of that "rookie". As the lead dwindled then dusappared it became evident Deronimo's coaching staff was keying in this area as for most of the final period the Generals were getting abused on the blocks. Yet key shots were made to keep it tight. Eventually in the dying moments the lead was retaken. A couple of stops were made in critical situations and the Generals went to the winners circle.

Well Hercules, my fans are disappointed your team didn't come with your usual intensity instead it seemed like a (TIE) affair and we (the fans) feel cheated out of a good game. I have been trying to explain to them that maybe just maybe your guys wanted to take a break before you CUP game. But, fans are fickle especially since we are your rivals. I hear my fans are trying to have more of Team Mavs colors in your arena than Round 2.

Good Luck on your Cup - It's a good team this week for ya.

Very astute. in the Buzzerbeater universe Gus Fring franchised out that mother.

I just do not like my cup draw at all, the opponent has a better starting five, I got the depth but the lineup is going to be staggered as hell im going to have to pull the trigger on GS this week. If I was playing tonight at home I would feel good about our prospects, on the road however this is a iffy proposition.

Bit of a massacre for the league tonight on the cup front. The generals managed to survive because instead of having to overcome the Schwartz they just took him out as Webb used a well placed elbow :45 seconds in to send him off for the night and to give that kid a sore back that his doctors say will take a week to heal. A very Webb thing to do, a few seasons back it seemed he was sending someone off every night, I thought he learned his lesson a couple of seasons back the night some dude with sparty took him out for three weeks with a broken ankle. Then again that night was a body bag game where I had three guys go down for multiple weeks and then over the next few games had several others go down.

Now I did lose McClain to even things out just a few minutes later. Kind of a funky game as both sides took to a staggered lineup, which thanks to McClain going out allowed Taylor to pick up some quality minutes and he rewarded that by being our high scorer for the evening. Hopefully he will pop as well this week. And he will see plenty of action next week as the seeding God's gave me a break, funny thing it is the #5 from the same league, and same conference as tonight's opponent.

Tonight's video package is of the parking lots showing various examples of the fans being festive.

Announcer: hola amigos and welcome into a very special edition of BB2NIGHT as it's a league wide celebration of Cinco de Mayo. And as we prepare to enter the cross over section of the schedule our first foray of conference clashes concludes with many compelling matchups.

Over in club red....

The surprising Masters seek to maintain control of their domain while the winners seek to find a way to start to salvage the campaign.

2 wants to return to the title discussion while the kitties need this one to keep pace at the top of the table.

The Mavs and blizzards clash in a contest that depending on results could leave the conquered on the outside of the playoff picture looking in.

While the sharks and bulls square off in a situation where the losing team could well fall to the cellar.

Amongst the blue bloods...

Deronimo and Diorite will hammer it out in a battle to keep pace with the Lions.

Speaking of which the Lions seek another successful Saturday in the NoCo against a quakes club seeking answers on finding their way out of the basement.

Our cameras will focus on The Cave as the Bunnies seek shelter from the stormz in a battle between two teams trying to keep contact with the upper division.

While in the Boro the Generals also look to stay in the discussion though a proud group of Spartans will certainly have a lot to say about that.

A tough week for the league in the cup as half of the competitors got sent home, we will have a look at the possible fortunes of those who got thru. The commissioner will come by at halftime to give his state of the league address. Sybil will have her say of course. All that and more on the way as it's celebration tonight on BB2NIGHT, salud.
