For what it's worth. I have 6 Doctor & had 1 injury per season with him (3 in total) 2weeks, 1week & 1 week.
Friend of mine same thing, 6 doctor, lost half his team 2 seasons in a row. I convinced him to email a GM about it. They looked & said it's a random factor & not a bug with his team???
Brother plays with a 4 Doctor, has one injury in the last 4 seasons.
I understand that it's random & yes bad luck happens, but this is a controlled environment (database) & who wants to play when these things happen more often? Yes make it true to life but don't let the random factor affect a team more than it needs to. This is played for fun after all.

I had a 1 week to my best big man on March 12 and the next week March 19 had a 2 week to my best guard. Which fortunately should be back right before the playoffs. I played this game for 2 season about 3 seasons ago and both of those seasons I had a major player go down right before the playoffs. And here it happen again. So I understand what you are saying and completely agree with others that if it is random what does it happen so much and why have I noticed it doesn't happen to the weak teams as much. I checked after my second guy went down. Only one team besides me had a injury on their team in my leagues and it was a back-up.

Something relevant, but very important to me.
If a player gets injured while you have a low level doctor.
He gets injured for "1 week" and that means that he will probably lose next saturday's game.
Signing a high level doctor within the week, would that shave a day from his recovery time?
Has anyone done something like that?

It will only make his recovery faster by a few days...probably 1 or 2 days faster.
The level of the doctor at the time a player gets injured is the most significant factor in the duration of the injury. Upgrading after the injury won't have a significant effect.

Will he really? Have you seen or heard it?
It is very important for me, because I have my star player injured for 1 week and if I can skip 1 day, I will have him next Saturday!
Will a level 6 doctor do that?

The # of weeks is an estimate, does not necessarily mean it starts off as a 7 day injury. I've had '1 week' injuries that have lasted 3 days, and others that have lasted 10 days. That said, if it was me, I would still take the chance and get a good doctor that doesnt break the bank if you can just for the chance it'll make a difference.

Better players get hurt more often because they play more often. Simple probability and statistics. Common sense actually. Why would someone that plays a backup role get injured more often??? They play less...therefore less injuries.

Get a better doctor and stop whining. I've seen worse. I've seen a team have 7 different guys injured in the same season and have 2 of them out for 3 weeks. He is currently going into the playoffs without his best guard, but did get his second best big man back today.
