Took a bit of a jump, but I just put up a guy for sale - my top recruit for the last draft. Just not going to be able to train him.
You *might* be interested.

And on dhods - came at the right time for me, TV game at my Arena 'n' all...

And on "top teams": I think I'm right up there. Perhaps not top 3, or even top 4. But I'm getting close.

I like the salary but not the rest. Too tall. Too low potential. Stamina: atrocious Free Throw: atrocious is very ugly. I wish I had my 6'9" guy back he was really good. Still I am bidding on another trainee so wish me luck, it will take a lot of my money.

You are good, but still a step behind the top 2 on our side and top 3 on the other side, probably about 6th or 7th best in the league.

Methinks you overestimate the Big 8 a bit...

I think another thing you're not looking at is the demise of some of the teams in II.1. As a league, obviously at the top level we're not as strong as we were last season. With the demise of Shibuya, the supposedly best team in the league is up for grabs. My money's on OUR side of the shark-tank - I think Shikoku and Sapporo are the best two teams in II.1 at the moment.

I do not usually write much in the forum, but read everything you write. Analyzing this season, I think the league is up to 7 teams: Fumoffu, Otaku, Zenigata, aisteru, Northern Kyushu, Kyoto Shogun and my team. For these teams believe there is no best time to climb the JBBL. We were lucky that the team that got off the JBBL left the game. Wait one more season to climb the JBBL would risk being down a team with high level.
Zenigata is reserving every weeks for the cup, and i think think with Otaku are favorites. Logically to the playoffs is a long way, and my intention will be the first of the conference. Next week i'll play vs Zenigata, and then I'll have an idea of where I can get this season. I have no other objective in mind other than to climb this season, so I will do my best to do :). Good luck for everyone!

I agree with what you say, but I think there are two tiers within that group of 7. I'd definitely place myself in the second (lower) tier - unfortunately, I'm not quite ready yet.
I'd say Fumoffu/Otaku/Zenigata/Sapporo are clearly top level, and aisteru/Kyoto/my team are behind 'em.
Fumoffu/Zenigata/Otaku still have the cup, which makes games interesting - but unless they can pull off some mighty big upsets, that'll end this week. Which will let them focus on league games.

I'd say I'm still a season away from being a true contender (and there are probably a few in the same boat as me).
It's definitely nice to be more competitive this season tho'.

Hello all!

Thank you for contributing to a great forum. I've been busy for a while and came back to see many recent discussions. I am happy to see the competitiveness in G8 conference and definitely the managers of the top 6 teams in G8 are doing very well in improving their teams.

At beginning of the season I had a feeling Shibuya will go bot and now it has come true. This season's championship could belong to any playoff contending team. At the end of the day, the person with home court will have a bigger chance at winning. If Otaku can be flawless on the way back, he will definitely has a bigger chance of winning in the play off final than I do. Good luck to everyone.

Sheesh...
My fanbase is difficult to satisfy! Had my first ever overall 5-ball rating after my last away game win, then I win by 83 points at home, in a TV game... and it drops to 4.5!
Go figure!
