well, that's rather bad. Hopefully, the three active teams don't abandon BB as well. And at least, this one player will probably become a U21 player that shouldn't be too bad if he finds the right team

btw: next week, I'll invite you. And to eliminate every doubts, I'll try to set up Scotland as Hometeam and let the game be played in Korea. It's kind of strange playing in scotland as an away team. And kind of bad not to see our nice-looking homecourt

Gave you a little scare didn't we?
(39665)

with home court advantage and just the right amount of game shape, we can pull it off

You definitely did. Especially with that scary first half (and especially first quarter) ... I'm actually surprised that we recoverd enough to pull away with the victory. Even though we don't need a tiebreaker now, I guess we should play next week at Perpete's arena

It's good to see that we're pushing each other ... and since we're aiming for the same goal in our respective countries, it's definitely good to square off a couple of times

Well, we've still got to catch up a bit with the senior team. All the good guys play under my tutelage at the moment So, start being scared in a couple of seasons ... some guys are going to turn 22 next season. And some more the season after ... and THOSE guys will be a different challenge

too bad that I'm training a korean guy that might hurt the scots in the future

We've lost another manager in BeAssertiveMan (40879)

the one player that I rescued from that squad is Jung-Min Won (40809159)
although an 18 year old, he pretty much lost a whole season of training, so realistically this player is a 19 year old behind on the training schedule.

I have a Canadian team that has offered his help to our cause and has currently put his bid in
I hope he gets it, but if one of you feel more inclined to train him, feel free to do so.

We have a game against the Scots again this week in a newly donated arena from Wendell and timo-93. Have a look when you get a chance. I like it =) and I'll try to tune in to the game live and make a live game broadcast for this momentous showcase.

Scotland U21 108 - 67 Hanguk U21
(39720)

Reporting live from this musky "Zooey Arena". We have a new look to our court layout. Looks pretty good indeed. Must be inspiring our players a little as we're keeping a tight match.
Just at the end of the quarter Yoon-Seuk Park (38793660) nails the buzzerbeater from mid court, right above our new center court logo, to bring the score to 20-18. Making a statement!
Start of the 2nd quarter, we're coming out a little flat. 0 for 4 shooting and letting Wendell and his Scots come out to a 11-0 run. After 4 minutes without scoring a single basket, we call a timeout. Whatever I told the players during the timeout must've worked. We score a quick basket +1 on the play, and a quick turnover which we converted to another basket. We're making a game out of this, going basket for basket. down 10. 38-28. Kyung-Young Bang (38793690) stretches out for a dunk, forcing Scotland to regroup as they take a timeout. Following the timeout we force ANOTHER turn over! and we convert! 38-32. The French fans are going wild!
It's to be noted that Wendell decided to tease us a little bit by not putting in all his 21 year olds, but we're glad to make this an exciting game. A number of our team will soon be graduating from the U21 squad. Sang-Chul Yun (38793678), Kyung-Young Bang (38793690), Yoon-Seuk Park (38793660), Jin-Sub Ham (37992179), and Ki-Hyun Hwang (37992073). We wish them well on their journey, hopefully towards joining the Hanguk NT.
Back to the game. It's halftime. Scotland threw in a few triples before the break to lead 48-32. Our comeback run came to a halt.
Fresh from the half, we're getting bullied a bit on the boards, an area we can use improvements on next season. Stephen Bolland (39035902) is single handedly taking us apart with shots, passing, and rebounding this quarter. With a deflating 27-13 quarter, we now trail by 30. 75-45.
