Thanks. He is on the tracking list... You should be contacted by one the scouts shortly (maybe he has already contacted you). If not, let me know.

This can also be made into a more general note. I am splitting the scouting for the 18 yr old group with three other people. While this does not mean I don't care about the development of our 18 yr olds, what it does mean is I will for the most part leave it to the assigned scout to contact you and track the player. They are experienced managers and know what it takes to train solid players, so I have great confidence in them.

However, if you are not contacted by a scout or you do not like the advice you are getting, please let me know. I would like feedback on this system and am willing to modify things if I think it will serve the community better.

Also, there is no guarantee that I will be the U21 manager next season. I am also not the authority on training. So really, my advice is no better than anyone else's.

I believe you are referring to Luc Boulanger (11817211). I replied to your BB-mail, as your player has also already been assigned to one of the scouts. Again, let me know if you have yet to be contacted or if you have some feedback on the advice that you have received.

Yep, I was just contacted and I will train him as best I can and hopefully he will make the U21 team in a couple of seasons.

Just saw this message - sorry I did not reply sooner. I believe you were in contact with me via BB-mail? My recommendation was to sell the player, since you are a new team and probably not in a position to train him effectively. In any case, thanks for getting in touch. I have added him to the tracking list.

Thanks - you will notice that he is prominently mentioned in this thread as the #3 PG 19 year old prospect in the country: (121627.1). I'm guessing you will be training him as a SG, though? Is there any way to convince you to train him as a PG? We always seem to have a log jam at SG.
