Can anyone else see Spikefierce on my schedule as a scrimmage? Like I've already lost my cup game. Pretty disrespectful...

Rather than a Bug, maybe it is a new Buzzerbeater Feature for a select few.

Although odd that Cal and Greensboro don't have a scrimmage also listed, given they are still in the cup, if it actually is a new Buzzerbeater "feature."

Announcer: as the rest of the league takes the all Star break to relect and look forwards three teams from the big 8 continue the cup chase. Tonight at the dog pound Cal looks to come up with a special effort to upend former slaughterhouse survivor rocket science who took home the honors back in season 37. It is a stout challenge for a D3 club to topple a NBBA stalwart but the dogs will do their best to match the Generals achievement from two weeks ago.

Tonight at the coliseum it is a contrast in styles in play. It's the hard hats and lunch pails of the homestanding generals against the flashy high end California Knights who also have ties to the slaughterhouse having relegated from the league following season 30, which was when the generals joined the fray. The knights make their third appearance in the round of 64 as they are out to equal their run to the round of 32 back in season 32. For the generals this is their 5th appearance in the field and their second in three seasons. But prior efforts have seen the franchise hit the wall, will this be the time they finally break thru?


And now the images move to the old hand Deronimo and their opponents the upstart PV Pride.

And then there is the team who has been around for it all. A team that has competed on every level. A team that has seen the highs, and the lows. And tonight Deronimo makes their first trip back into the field of 64 since season 35. And tonight they battle a relative newcomer to the scene as PV Pride will make their first appearance this deep in the cup proceedings.

Arenas for the generals was firing from all over the place in the first half, but my boys finally ran out of bullets down the stretch and Childress was something there was no answer for...exit generals

But what had to be the real frustration was left to Deronimo to deal with. In a game fought close to the vest PV pulled out just enough to get by inspite of the fact they had three of seven foul out and finished the contest with a lucky fan holding down the center..... Exit hokies

See! The fix was in. At least I do have that scrimmage now.

In a battle between the 4's well ensconced fierce host the hanging on by a thread hokies.

The bunnies look to get some rave reviews for their roadshow with a trip to face the struggling stones

And Petersburg will look to pull back to .500 against the barricade.

Mavs look to keep pace on having HCA for the first round of the playoffs while Petersburg tries to stay in touch for the final spot in the blues

The chefs look to move a step closer to clinching while Deronimo could use a signature with to solidify their postseason asperation.

The bunnies seek to battle for the top spot in the blues while kitties can kinda chill

The dogs also look to stay close while blasters are looking like the team no one want come across come the postseason.

The dogs and bunnies square off in a game where the winner will find themselves on the inside track to hosting a first round playoff game.
