a couple of hot ticket items up on the market today as one manager went bot

2 high potential and 1 fairly trained

so if you got space, give it some thought

That's a strange time to go bot, but I would even say the three guys might be interesting. Of course the 18 y old is the most interesting because of his age. He also has received some outside training (andwasn't catastrophic to start with) and his size suits him to be come a nice PF later on.

I guess that the update for Korea runs a little (or a lot?) earlier that the one for european/ american teams. (Looking at the starting time of the games, that would make sense).

As for the guys: why don't I have another Utopian team that could pick those guys up. Really tempting, especially those two MVPs but also the Superstar for next seasons U21. Give him OD for the rest of the season and he'll be a great help to the team. The 19y old MVP has some nice inside skills, so you could easily get him to IS 12/13 without ever training IS. Reb 8 will let him cap earlier, though. But still nice to have. And the 18y old MVP is of course the best prospect because of his age ... I hope he gets great training!!

Yes, I saw that, too. The good thing is that you both have been playing BB for a very long time so someone who's newer to the game would not get the job if the votes were split (I kind of doubt that there will be more than 2 people voting next time ... was a big surprise you got two votes last time^^) We need both of you to stay, please! ;)

When I looked at the game (when it was live) I was thinking about complaining that you didn't let HH Lee have his first game because he wasn't part of the roster. Seems I need to look more closely. His first three minutes and his first assist! Wow, now he needs only 170 more to tie GY Ahns record of 171 ... shouldn't be too hard, right? ;)

Great work and good luck in the second round!!

Huge game by HT Kim with 36 points, 6 assists and even some rebounds.

He's kind of amazing. I was kind of sure that with JD Shin in perfect GS and you playing RnG, he would score less than your guy. Now he scores AND dishes out assists. He really wants to get as many points and assists (and who knows, maybe even get close to the Top 10 in rebounds?) before he retires in about 1-2 seasons.

And it's amazing that MK Lee still doesn't start games when he has perfect GS. He really did look quite well when he was on the TL and since he didn't have any skilldowns, the other (older) guys should still look pretty good, too. So: go for it and beat Russia on Monday. You have a very experienced team^^ ;)

I'm still not quite sure the schedule was as fair as it's supposed to be nowadays though. If we look at the World Ranking of our opponents and the ones for Australia (for example), we faced a tougher competition.

Yes, that's rather interesting. Don't know if it's a bug or if you just got seeded that highly because you got us that trophy last season and did very well this season, too.

You did a great job again this season. If we make the POs, that great! If not: you've got a lot of possibilites to let HY Lee have his debut for the NT Either way, I'll be happy

Thing is the new schedule is not supposed to be fair in the way that every team, top to bottom, will get a fair shot at the same number of wins. It was made that everyone would play teams from all over the ranking scale and not some teams would get lucky and play almost only bottom teams while his direct competitor would play lot more teams from the top.

In previous seasons, our schedule could be a lot worse than the Australia schedule than this season, but it feels like it could be closer than this (current WR of opponents, may have changed over the season):
K: 21-27-39-45-65-68-75-98
A: 28-36-56-57-67-72-87-95

For references other Asian teams closer in the Consolation rankings (Japan / Pilipinas):
J: 30-36-45-55-63-66-81-96 (slightly better schedule than ours)
P: 18-27-38-41-57-60-74-90 (slightlty worse schedule than ours)

In conclusion, schedule are fairer. There is still some luck factor which is good imho, but we haven't been lucky schedule wise in quite some time.

But we got that trophy and no one is going to take that away from us. So all's good. And maybe we'll have some luck with the schedule when we need it in order to secure HCA for an Asian tournament that we'll try to win (or at least, get another trophy). Maybe around christmas 2024 or something? ;)

Well, that was close! Congrats on such a great game against Russia. Even though it's rather disappointing to lose after leading the game entering the last quarter. But looking at the DMI of those guys from Russia prior to the game, I'd never have thought that the game might get this close - even with more enthusiasm used and HCA ...

Great game!

don't want to be the debbie downer... but it's gonna be tight... more leaning towards just out of the bracket.
sweden or denmark is gonna surpass us.
Iran looks like will pass us
portugal

and after that, any 4-3 team that wins will knock us out
good season, just short
