Sorry but with the second player that he has drafted and because he's very high, it's much better to train first inside (inside shooting, inside defense and rebound).
It's better for his team. After 2,5 season, jump shot and a little outside defense (just for one up) will be good to complete the player. At this moment the progression will be very difficult because to the potential.

I'd even say none of his skills needs additional training except all insides, since he is big.
I'd include block to, just train all 4 inside skills up gradually. Eventually he also will need at least 4 extra levels of stamina, since he won't perform well for long if he stays atrocious.
If there is 1 other skill besides the insides, I'd train driving, since the inside shots use it quite a lot.
I'd never train this guy on jump shot. It will rais just a little anyway if he is trained in inside shot (and also if he is trained in driving)...

But that's just my opinion ofcourse.

All depend on where he'll play. for an PF, he needs 1-2 up's in Outside defence and 1 up in Jump shot but he's already nice.
If you want to make him play as a center ... IS/ID/REB/BLK and 2-3 times per season Stamina.

yes.

But given his hight I'd turn him into a monster center.

He has the excellent skills to become a SF, but he's to big to succesfully train outside skills (he will train them, but not as quick as inside, so it would be kind of a waste), so that I why I wouldn't turn a good SF out of him.

For PF it is kind of a trade of between a SF and a C, so again, he would be slow on the outside stuff he'd need to train to make him a very good PF.

Therefor, I personally, would focus on inside and make him a center. His skills other then inside are so good already, he wouldn't need any training at all on them, which makes him very easy to train into a monster C.

just the contrary.

Since his potential isn't very high (it's still high though) he will never be a splendid C nor PF, if you are going to increse the other skills still.

If he is trained as pure C, he'll be able to become a monster, just not a gigantic monster. ;)
I think star potentials are capable of reaching 45k wage or so, maybe littlebit higher, and I'm not sure what you think of those, but for me, they are monsters. ;)

Well, those centers are nice but not nice enough for NT your right when it comes to normal clubs though. Players with a much higher loan than 40k are only needed on the highest of the highest levels. Thats why I realised that training alot of players is better than training 3 or something (which I did in the past and which will give me a bit of financial problems in the future. If not alot of problems.)

But if he can have just one level less in inside defense, inside shot and rebound and, in the same time, three more levels in jump shot and outside defense, it's much better for me.

This might be true, but I choose to doubt that.
if you raise the outside skills, he will become a PF, which are a little higher in wage then other players.

I also think the salary is overal-skill based (depending on the best position ofcourse some skills will be weighted heavier) and not directly wage related. Because wage is overall skill related, so is the cap indirect related to the wage, but directly to the overall skills...

When you choose a more balanced player, indeed you will be able to train longer. But then you would typically always finish with a SF. If you want a C, I think it is best just to train inside. Hope this makes it a little more clear what I maen...
It all depends on the exact type of player you want
