Logically it has to take your current enthusiasm level in to account. Otherwise there would be no reason not to CT evey single game.

Not really.

CT could either rise as a function of enthusiasm, or rise by a fixed level.

Neither of those cases would justify CTing every game.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

That's true, but also sounds strange. If the effect of CT is constant it will have a relatively small effect if you have high enthusiasm, while it will have a relatively huge effect for low enthusiasm, which sounds really strange to me.

as forrest says the effect is the same (better defense & rebounding, etc) but the starting level of your team HAS to be lower if you have an enthusiasm <5

I may be wrong in lots of things, but one thing is sure. The effect of MOTS and the effects of enthusiasm are different things. Enthusiasm has not changed, it still increases the rebounding and defense level. But MOTS effect is completely different.
"What it should be" is not "what it is".
I just stop here at this point. I've got tired of explaining the same thing and people don´t want to understand until they loose...
