at some point in the near future, i hope there is a VR environment reproducing "shikago's brain" where i can wander the endless aisles astonished by the all the weird and fantastic items stored, scattered and strewn about the place. sort of like a Goodwill store, but digital.

I imagine the audio loop would be an acoustic rendition of Shakespear's Sister's "Stay" running in perpetuity, and all the Oompa-Loompas are named Sourpis.

Does GS has any connection to age? I'm having a hell time maintaining a decent GS for my guys here despite much better stamina and minutes management. The one week I had good GS was because I trained GS. Meanwhile my 3 trainees in utopia seem to have no problem staying at 8 or 9 when their minutes are constantly ranging high 70 to 80. All 3 also have lower stamina than the guys here.

I have been frustrated with that too....with the exception of a player here or there, I have had near perfect minutes the last two weeks, and my GS last week was horrible, and isn't much better after this mornings update.

That doesn't even touch on how ridiculous it is that a player who plays just over an hour in an entire week gets gassed....these poor wittle athletes!!

for myself, i think i have found
(a) that the minutes guide changes over the course of the season -- i think more minutes are considered beneficial early in the season, detrimental later in the season.
(b) that getting players with high stamina to the highest level in GS is difficult and twitchy
(c) GS training is very powerful.

i hope Ozone answers because he has mastered GS -- by this time of the season, it is the rare player on his squad whose GS is not proficient.

I suspect Ozone is training GS?

Also, iirc you want an average of 60 over 2-3 weeks so if a player gets 75 one week, it's actually more beneficial to get him 45 the following week as opposed to 60.

I don't think these #s are in the neighborhood of being accurate.

To your (b) point, I thought we had made changes to address that. I'm not disagreeing with you because Gongri has a 9 stamina and he is stuck at 7 for most of the season. I understand there is randomness in this area but it's just odd that my utopia guys seem to have an easier time.

Minutes of key players two weeks/one week ago

Ma: 96/54
El-Ruson: 71/72
Krupen:77/66
Jurist:85/81

I don't usually help out managers who are current or likely future opponents, but I think it's safe to say you'd benefit from re-evaluating what you think good minutes should consist of.

Or just keep shaking your fist and complaining about how unlucky you are as if that will help. Your choice.

Ohhh, you're funy smart ass!

I just bought Ma, so had no expectations of good GS for him.....El Ruson 71/72 certainly qualifies as "near perfect: minutes, especially with a Doctor with Massage speciality. However, overall, my minutes have been good for players, minus a few, and yet I have had a bunch of respectable's and Strong's as of late. I have never struggled to manage GS in this game....so yes, I will shake my fist at my current GS with frustration because it sucks compared to the solid minute distribution my team has had overall.

However, since you were so kind to try help me out, I guess I should return the favor.....Its always been known that ideal minutes for players is 59-72 minutes in a week, with the sweet spot being 62-69 minutes a week.....There is a random factor in the formula just like in near every component of BB.

The biggest flaw in what you said, and I am not sure if you were intentionally trying to mislead people (I am assuming so, since you have made it to the NBBA, can't imagine you actually believe what you spewed and implement that with your own minute management)....but the idea that giving a player 45 minutes in a week is EVER a good thing is 100% incorrect.

The formula indeed covers several weeks, they have told us that....but the "what have you done for me lately" always factors in more strongly.....so 45 minutes in a week in an effort to bring your average over several weeks down will always gain you a significantly smaller improvement in the overall formula than the big hit you take for having so few minutes in the most recent week.

Magic number according to Joey Ka's research is 60 ((http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...)). Not factoring in the massage doctor, 72 is better than 45 but not probably by a lot.
