As I've told you, your idea will mean more coding. You said it was false, but probably because you haven't thought a lot about that.
And about polls, most of the times they are tricky if you don't do them in a good way. This is not so easy as just put some options and let people vote. And I guess that when you run a company or a game like this, you have to choose carefully which decisions should follow this system.
BB's policy hasn't gone for polls a lot, I don't know if they will decide to change this policy in this particular case.

Did Marin tell you this? I don't believe the difference is as big as you make it sound. At all. It's just 3 extra leagues and you'd run the calculations about who goes where in S40 only once.

The biggest coding issue should be allocating the nationality to the S40 draftees to be honest not creating 4 leagues instead of 1 and removing 3 of those the following season. When you create one you can also create 4. You will need to move teams manually after that one more time, but that also should be rather easy as Marin has done entire promotion-demotions for many more leagues by hand in the past. If this is so hard to do, then the Utopia effort should be in the Hall of Fame of coding. This is a mini tiny reverse Utopia with one season to adjust things.

It really feels like a cop out from you Foto. Even if it did require a LOT more effort on the devs side, this change will clearly affect enormously those 50 managers in those nations and frankly, if you really cared about ensuring a smooth transition and maximising retention you should do what it takes.

Oh and regarding polls I understand and that's why I changed "poll" to "forum discussion" in my post before you replied. This discussion should be open only to the manager affected by the change (and the asian micronations who are next) and staff members who wish to participate. I'm pretty sure the South Africans and hopefully some more will join the discussion. And if nobody expresses an opinion there, then I will agree with you that nobody cared enough about the change, so I will also support you if you go with the option that requires less effort on your part. Makes sense?

I can't deny that small communities managers get an economic advantage but it allows to outweigh some inconveniences not shared by bigger communities (smaller draft pool, NT competitiveness). With this merge, almost all the advantages will be lost while the inconveniences will be kept. Is the aim of this deep change to chase us away? This way we won't bother anyone no more!

I know its not the right place to ask, but its just a simple question, so decided not to open a thread for that. I was wondering about B3 enthusiasm levels. This is my first year participating in it, so I know there is no TIE/CT stuff, but do you get the Enthusiasm you have or is it also on a set level (i.e. lvl 5). To make it more clear, if I up my Enth to lvl 9 i.e. from my league and cup games, shall I have it on that same lvl 9 for my B3 games?

The display does indeed show your enth as it is now, but when the game is played it will be 12.

I completely agree with E5. And what about identity and culture? Not to mention that we do not speak the same language as countries like Morocco Algeria or Egypt. These countries are geographically very distant. This is a very bad idea.

I assume you'll still have your own national forums and national team since nothing has been said about that.

The draft (for the U21 and NT) is a problem, but hopefully they will help you with that.
