NT advance to 2nd stage

coach:
This doesnt look good as our guy clearly get outclass by the quality among the group. If we able to win 1 or 2, is really consider miracle.

Hahaha well no disrespect at all! Come playoffs time anything can happen.

Before that I have two more achievements to aim for - 22-0 season which a few teams including Tampines Fusion have done before; and 3000pts which I think someone did before once. For that I gotta average more than 137pts a game for the remaining 6 games lol quite a stretch.

Oh man! I even forgot that I've gone 22-0 before. Had to actually check back to confirm hahaha.

3000 will be a tough task, but it seems like you're well on track. I think only you, Boston, and Steamboat can possibly achieve that. Especially on a 3 peat season. Oh man, that's legendary!

Yes I remember wondering about hitting 3000pts before since my team is traditionally quite high scoring with my RnG offense. My closest was 2911pts in s46 and I seem to recall checking the past seasons and saw that one team hit 3k before, but I can't find it now so maybe it wasn't SBBL.

I'm just on track now and could take a few CTs to get that boost in scoring but it's a delicate balance I have to find to remain unbeaten and also not affect the postseason form. Indeed it will be my greatest achievement if we are able to hit 3k pts, 22-0, and 3peat in a season! Can retire after that liao 😁

Lubnan vs. Singapore 100 - 92

A hard fought lost for singapore as Singapore lost the battle in OT game. During the last 30second, SG kobe manage to draw the game with a backdoor dunk. However with time left with 4sec, H. Muhammed unable to score the buzzerbeater layup. Since then singapore unable to fight back the long time and handed with lost.

Coach: alot of if situation here. If we doesnt have slow start, if lubnan does not have 30 FTA vs 8 FTA (WTH), if H. Muhammed able to score that layup. Alot of if but what is done is done. We have to pick up the lost and move on from this.

It's okay. Getting to the second round is good enough. Look at this 2 season as a reset season. There's a lot of background work to do before we can be good again.

We are 3 games away from the playoffs!

Big 8 has more or less secured their playoff spots, but Great 8 is heating up!

Before tonight's game, we had 4 teams at 11-7, vying for the last 3 playoff spots (since PhantoMech already guaranteed their spot as top seed). Tampines Fusion struck first blood tonight after trashing Boston 130-105. They have already played against all the top teams in Great 8, so expect them to breeze through the last 3 games to secure 2nd place.

The excitement comes for the other 3 team's schedule:
In the next game, Boston and Changi Muscle Ball plays each other, while Steamboat plays unbeaten PhantoMech.
After that, Boston will play Steamboat while Changi Muscle Ball will play PhantoMech.
In the final game, Steamboat will play Changi Muscle Ball, while Boston will play PhantoMech.

It's going to be an exciting 3 game stretch with 4 of the top 5 teams playing each other.

After CTing Tampines Fusion, will PhantoMech have enough enthusiasm to weather through the onslaught of the 3 promotion hungry teams and stay unbeaten?
Would Changi Muscle Ball regret throwing the game against Tampines Fusion?
Will the tough schedule stop PhantoMech from achieving the 3000 point milestone?
Who will be make the last 2 playoff spots in Great 8?

I'm feeling so excited now!

Wow what a great writeup to hype up the run-in towards the playoffs..!

I didn't even realise the last stretch is so exciting and what a situation to be in omg. Will have to plot my moves very carefully to maintain the unbeaten streak and stand a chance for 3000pts against the three teams fighting for two spots... and still be prepared enough to carry on in the playoffs gosh!
