so we have got prize money clear now. as i expected it is nothing..whatever.. i think it would be best if the B3 games will be played like PL games. No minutes, no injuries, no revenue etc. I think a lot managers dont want to keep competing in BBB more than just a round...Isnt B3 loosing the idea with which it was created???
Have you guys realized its is more worth it to drop to the II.division and draft well and the next season promote and recieve that 1M you offer to the best team in the world? 1M for promotion and 1M for winning BBB..just pick managers

If people want to play a game to make virtual money, go ahead.

I'd rather play against people who want to win.

i would rather win games..to wining games you need money..to earn money you have to to win everything what is possible..in a real world it is like that (you wrote this is the most realistic basketball manager game). here it is better to win II.division than to win the BBB! So here: to win games you need money, to earn money you shouldnt be in a top division becose you are discriminated in it..i understand that economy is the key that would keep this game running, without healthe economy there wouldnt be BB. But you have to accept that the BBB is bringing much more negatives than positives. the only positive is to have a good feeling you won the game (but you will loose your nextleague game becose of minutes). thatswhy i say it would be better for BBB if it would has the same system as PL..

I just don't understand the "Since B3 doesn't pay money up to my standards, I'll just not care" argument.

Perhaps the argument is that BB3 is now a big sacrifice for teams. For the team that wins it (and collects all the prize money), the team will win prestige, but end up losing money (cost of extra players, attendance losses in league games, etc.), and probably a lot of it, even if the team is somehow able to take advantage of the extra training (which is extremely difficult). This is in contrast to last year, where there was a financial advantage (not huge, but present) to being in the BB3 tournament.

As such, I expect that maybe 10 teams a year will try for it, undergoing the necessary additions and focus on certain games.

B3 doesn't really cost you more than trying to win the regular National Tournament.

Cost in adding depth, potentially taking losses in the league/cup, game shape will take a hit. Since the b3 is the toughest competition you can't hardly expect to win the final prize, even throwing all your resources into it. So much comes down to the draw.

Practically thinking, it's prob better for most teams to focus on league/cup, but giving up on the b3 will be hard thing for any manager to do.

for a manager that needs the teams ahead of you to have to concentrate on other comps in order to win your national title again i'm surprised you dont sympathise with the lack of money argument... if the majority of BB3 managers opt to concentrate on the bread and butter of the league and cup and neglect the BB3 then the domestic dominance is likely to continue.....

when the bb3 rewards warrant a risk in spending and weekly expenditure this will create a gap for the 'potential chasing pack' to take advantage of the teams going for the bb3 that fall short...
