It's not like we don't have another options than inside offense. We also have very good outside offense. I showed it in Consolation Turnament in previous season. I proved it in game against Greece
(52787) at this season.
This week we have much bad luck: enormous troubles with game shape (bad luck of few players, some players changes teams like Loshak, Biliutavicius) + injury of Treikauskas. It wasn't even bad communication (I would say communication is rather my strong side). Such big trouble with game shape has never happened before in even similar scale...
Fairly speaking I expected GDP inside and even wanted to play from outside, but because of all above mentioned issues and finally after transfer of Biliutavicius, when I lost last option on SF to outside tactic...I had to change plan and play inside offense. I accepted being gueesed in direction of offense in GDP, and started trying to not being guessed in pace. I also expected something different than inside offense by Italy, that's why I resigned guessing GDP. I tried to maximalize what we have...
When I saw tactical choices, GDP and so on...just after start of the game I was pleased and full of positive emotions...but it wasn't enough. I think I couldn't do much more in this situation.
