I would try and find some 18 or 19 year olds on the TM, not sure if u have much money to spend though.

Balkin and Ramas are both ok. They have a decent amount of potential and will surely help your team. Next season I would look to find a couple solid trainees, for now there is no point trying to tear down the team.

Both Balkin and Ramas are 20 and I have 2 potential point guards both 18-19. I haven't really decided on who to train.

Your PG's potential is the issue. They are both only 'star' quality meaning they will max out sooner and train slightly slower.

I would go with the big men for one season and then start with trainees next season. Hopefully you can draft a beast and build around him.

That is something I cannot tell you. In my opinion there are alot of variables, especially without actually seeing the players attributes. The factors that you need to consider: Opponents offensive and defensive tactic, your tactics, gameshape, cup games? etc.

one quick question

i always assumed it was a waste of time to train players with low potential but i have got a really young player who is good already even just a few pops would make him a solid rotation player i think

i believe age = training speed and potential has no effect until they reach thier 'cap'

correct or not

so would i be a fool to train this guy or not

already doing 2 position training he would be trainee number 5 or 6

As long as your not looking to train them really high. For example a player with Starter potential can be trained till about 21-24 k before training starts to slow. So if u only need someone around 10-15k salary he will do the job just fine. Your correct potential has no effect on training speed only age and trainer level do. What potential does this guy have?

And the height is very important on training speed. Try for example to train a 6'5 guy as a big man. You will cry...

Ahh yes that slipped my mind when i wrote that. Age, Trainer Level and Height i think that covers it.
