Sometimes if you do have a team like yours (with three actual U21 contenders), then you should definitely get a lvl 6 trainer. The # of potential guys definitely makes a difference. How many seasons have you been here man?

I don't think my 2 Canadian guys are really U21 contenders. One of them might have an outside shot, but pretty unlikely. I'm taking a bit of a longer term view. I would bet money, however, that my 18 year old from Norway will be on their U21 in the next few seasons. I guess I'm a traitor for developing foreign talent....

A 6'1" center?? I am assuming that is not the long term plan, correct?

Well his 2 other trainees are guards, so I would assume he is training guards, and right now that player just hasn't improved his guard skills much yet. I actually like the idea of getting a short center at 18 because then you don't have to train inside skills which take forever, you can just train guards skills pretty much the whole time, and he will still be fairly well rounded

I agree with RIP, he has the potential to be a fantastic player. Very nice balance of skills.

Are you training one or two positions??

One position right now. Next season will be a jump shot year, however. Obviously he'll train guard skills alot faster than he would inside skills, but since he's started with a strong inside skill set, I'm considering making him into a small forward. I'm not going to decide either way until next season, or maybe even the season after-I'd like to see his outside d and jump shot significantly better first.
