Hmm. Have never seen it on any of my games, but OK..

That was my original problem. There is no way for me to predict how many minutes the players will get in a blowout. My PF got 3 fouls and then sat out almost the whole game because I was ahead by 30. I'm not training him but these 11 minutes games play hell with trying to get him into the leader board.

On the other hand, I feel uncomfortable playing one person for 48 minutes because it is against the spirit of a real game.

i set my trainee to play starter backup and reserve at C. i set "strictly follow depth chart" and "let them play"

he had 1 foul, no injury and played only 38 minutes, because he got subbed out... it happens

The discussion is about how it can happen even in a non blowout with player set as starter, backup and reserve and no unassigned players on the bench. Doesn't happen often but can happen.
