touche...
the heat may have dropped 5 games in a row (6 soon against the lakers) but at least they are still 3rd in the east.

back on topic, I suspect the SG may just very well be the best option on offense, the aweful passing just means he will make a few more TO or a few less assists.

"..not 1 championship, not 2, not 3, not 4..."

I'm pretty sure Charlie Sheen counts for at least 3 men.

I think SG and SF tend to jack more shots no matter what you do. Look at this game I had against the Black Soxx http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/29561226/boxscore.aspx. He played inside iso against me, yet his SG jacked up TWICE as many shots as any other player on his team. His SG had more attempts than all his C's and PF's combined.

imagine the orlando magic when talkin about inside iso

here's an example: http://www.nba.com/games/20110309/ORLSAC/gameinfo.html?ls=gt2hp0021000963#nbaGIboxscore

they try the center first, if he's good enough, they'll double-team him, he passes out for 3's, or other shots

correct me if i'm wrong

In your example Richardson and Nelson get off 16 and 17 shots, while Arenas gets off 9 in limited minutes. Turkaloo gets off 8. Thats spreading it around.

In BB it would look more like Richardson gets off 25 shots, Nelson 9, Arenas 2 and Turkaloo 6.

As others have stated it could be that the SG is typically teams best shooter. And those same guys tend to have less than average handles and/or passing. Also I will add that off flows tend to be lower than the rest of the stats which can add to the SG getting stuck with the ball late in shot clocks, and/or they just cant pass the ball or drive so they do what they do best. Jack a ton of shots lol.

Of course its all just speculation :)
