7 TIE = 5 Normal

yes agreed
but enthusiasm always tends to come back to 5....so if someone has an ent of 9 and he uses normal then the enthusiasm still falls back to 8 or 7 till the next game depending on the sublevel of enthusiasm...

7 TIE = 5 Normal

I don't agree with this statement. Neither do many of the people I've talked to. From what I've noticed, most people agree that 8 or 9 TIE is closer to 5 Normal, however that's mostly speculation, as the players don't have access to the algorithms used here.
Believe whatever you chose, however without any evidence, I don't recommend you state your opinion as fact.

for me, i said from experience. i compared the ratings while holding almost everything else constant.

5 Normal (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/32880879/boxscore.aspx)

7-8 TIE (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/32880895/boxscore.aspx)

- played the same players on my team
- 7-8 TIE had slightly better ratings

I don't think that any tie, even the higher is the same as any normal. If it were so, everyone'd be playing tie to have a normal, let's say 9.

it's a different aproach, I believe that when you play relaxed (that's the name in spanish) you have less risk of injury, in some cases comit more fouls or allow more points, but you take care of your players. I don't think that a parallel can't be done, even with the lower enthusiasm you'll have a litle edge in same points when playing normal, but in the long term is the benefit. especially when the playoffs arrive, wich is a huge boost for your team.

Good luck to all from Argentina!!

i doubt the influence on injury and fouling(maybe through less possesion through rebounds).

And the reason why you don't play everything TIE, is that a normal have much less cost and lot of benefit then playing crunch time in a "normal" strategy. eEnthusiam management is imho crucial in this game, and this includes also to know when to play normal instead of a tie.
