don't spam him, he had gotten his message and obviously choosed not to reply which is normally a sign that he don't have chanches for the team.

And Hongkong is big, so i am not surprised that he isn't strong enough.

PS: and don't be to concrete when you list him ;)

if you say for example, if it like that i list him now it is something like a transfer ad for me.

So make your skill up and whenever it is finished list him or not.

he doesn't want you to be too specific.

That's just a false friend, since 'concrete' (and 'konkret', respectively) does have a totally different meaning in English and German ;)

I'm sorry, I still don't understand what to not be specific about.

I am an Under 21 coach myself and I can tell you a few things.

The rosters are never finalised. I made massive changes once we were out contention in the tournamnet and gave a few tier two and three players a run.

Hong Kong is a very powerful team and at best he would be marginal, but you never know if there are injuries or GS issues he may get a call up.

We U21 managers have to deal with sleasy day traders all the time that want us to do things for them to make them a buck while all they do is sit on our players and not train them properly. I assume you are not like this, but I go out of my way to not help these people and have recieved much abuse from these day traders that bought our U21 players, didn't train them, then tried to flip them for a quick buck, but when I notice (especially before the reset at the start of the season and late last season when it didn't matter) I remove the players from the team.

I even have unscrupulous managers contacting me and asking me to add their dud players to the U21 team so they can make a profit on the sale. Obviously they get nothing from me!

Hong Kong is probably knee deep in "businessmen" and I imagine the coach has 0 interest in messing up his national team and will be 100% focussed on having the best team at all times.

sorry to make it so complicated, transfer ads are not allowed in the forums.

And sometimes normal threads tend to end in a transfer ad, often this happen not on purpose but we act also there, so that "smart" managers don't start make up questions which they could use to make an transfer ad.

For example I once saw a "question" a little like this:

I have a question? My player is brilliant, leads the league in scoring, never fouls out, has great potential and and height. When I sell him for $1,500,000 in three days what should the new manager do to train him? Here are his skills:
Jump Shot sensational ...

Do you think of OP as one of the "businessmen" you mention? I mean, what has playing for U21 got to do with higher price in the market? Only people from the same country as that player can get something from him in form of raised merchandise which would probably be around 5-8k per week, which is nothing to write home about. Especially because it lasts only as long as your player plays for U21, which is not very long.

Huh? Why shouldn't players for other countries' U21s not help with the merchandising? They help less, agreed - but that's solely because they're not playing in their home country.

And playing for the U21 has no disadvantages, while giving the player additional experience.
