Having Enth for PO is a good idea, but you can't jeopardize your position. If you face a team who is tied with you on, say, first place you may not risk losing home court advance.
Now, when you face teams that are way better than you, just play tie and field it like a scrimmage.

Agreed with what strlife said, but you might consider your league rank. For example, last season I was pretty well locked into 3rd place after 15 league games, would've taken an incredible performance one way or another to move out of it. I concentrated the last 7 games on managing my enthusiasm, though it still didn't help come playoff time. Once you've figured out where you're likely to be in a playoff position, you ought to begin managing enthusiasm, though as strlife said, it shouldn't come at the expense of costing your team home court advantage.
