Yeah a win's a win. TBH, I was probably saying that it was closer than it appeared at least partially to make myself feel better. And I'm pretty happy with Pagan so far. He had the ball stolen a couple of times b/c of his atrocious handling, but he passed well and shot fairly well considering the defensively dominant nature of the game. Interestingly enough, out of the top rookies of this class, two (Meeker and Bunn) have been sold or are close to being sold, one (Gary McDowell) was forced to retire due to management issues, and only two of note (Pagan and Duvall) are with their original teams. Just saying.

Cedrick Pagan is a beast, but I have the guy with the best name in the league, Dick Mccracken :D

Yeah, I might be able to argue that but it would be difficult. But I'll bet Mccracken didn't get a triple pop this week.

Handling, passing, driving...oh yeah!

SIDE NOTE: I noticed you bought Calvin Bunn back. First, do you have to pay those 3% sales fees on transfers to yourself? Second, why? $750K is a very good sum for an 18yo with his skills/potential. Especially if you lost money through the transfer fee, why would you spend so much to keep him?

I thought I was gettin a U21 player with my 1 million, so I thought I didnt need bunn. SO then I didnt get the guy and im like shit. SO I noticed while I bid against the guy it was gettin really high, so I decided if it went over 800000 id let him go. My mentor and some people in the U21 comitee say he has a serious chance of some day even being a starting PG on the U21. And by the way congrats for the triple pop, I'm glad he's doing so well. I hope he can keep training so well.

U21 STARTING point guard? Wow. You sure about that? I wouldn't think he'd have more than an outside chance at a backup role let alone starter, considering that he has all atrocious inside skills and the US traditionally runs LI, don't they? Plus I'm sure there's higher potential and better skilled prospects with equally good height floating around with high-level trainers and experienced managers (does the name Cedrick Pagan ring any bells? O_O). What level trainer do you have, btw?

But seriously, despite my little joke about Pagan, I have little actual idea about what it takes to be a U21 player so I could be completely mistaken. Regardless, best of luck with him!

I have a superior trainer. And my trainings coming from the people who run the NT, so I think they can help me make him a u21 player. Even tho my mentor says starter, I don't believe it. But looking at the database, he could be a backup easily.

After looking closer at the standings, and roster of the Maine Claws, I believe I misjudged them. I believe that Maine Claws may take this one to the finals.

Yeah, it does help a lot that the Raiders offloaded their 55K big man. Matchup nightmare for my players who have about a tenth of his salary and correspondingly less skill. Also one thing that helps me is that all my forwards can shoot from outside--not many D.V forwards have enough OD to contest perimeter shots and long jumpers. But still, Shippensburg looks pretty solid and has money from that transfer (+55K per week in saved income) which they'll probably use at the end of the season to buy someone who will likely crush all my hopes and dreams, so they're probably still the favorite. I'd be surprised if I didn't reach the conference finals, though.

Sadly, no pop for Pagan this week, as I trained passing again and all the related skills popped last week. That's okay though. He'll almost certainly pop next week with his age and height.

Yeah, It's gonna be a great game when you and bobitz play. He just picked up a new guy who seems to be quality though.

And he just added a new 25K shooting guard. Epiphany on Cedrick Pagan's training: I've just decided he needs to get really good defensively, really fast. OD training, anyone?

If I don't buy new players, bobitz is probably going to murder me. If I do, it will upset my long-term schedule and even if I could promote, I couldn't sustain my team in D.IV (no arena expansions = too small arena = not enough weekly income, would probably have to sell Pagan to get the money to get the players necessary to beat Shippensburg). Well there's always next season, except Naples Napalm is tanking with probably $40K per week in scouting just to steal the best draft prospect from me. I know, life sucks, doesn't it? lol jk anyhow, all I can do is do the best I can to get my team as ready as possible to make sure the Raiders don't promote over me without a fight.
