The fact i dont like euroleague, is since FIBA made changes to 3pt line and paint area. This makes teams, who are defending basiccly everytime play 2-3 zone, well not exzactly zone, but 3 defenders at defence always tends to be inside the 3pt arc, to compare with old rules it used to be 3 outside 2 inside the 3pt arc. This makes driving to basketball even more difficult as it was before, also harder to shoot med range jumpers, because even if ur defender is too late, u can always expect for a help defence from his teammate. Also its hard to push the ball to the low post too.
In my opinion, they either needed to move 3pt line half a metter more to match the NBA line, creating space for driving into the paint. Also for creating more space they need get rid either of rectangle paint shape or add 3 second defensive violation rule.
Basicly i hate those rules, cause they force teams to take bad type of shots everytime. Drastically reduced the number of paces in the game, scoring per pace from 1.28 to 1.05... The fact driving to basket became only climbing to the tree, cause when u drive u face 2 or 3 opponents crowded near the basket. Game isnt attractive to the eye anymore.
On the other hand changes were a must, cause outside-oriented scoring teams were dominating. But i think those changes made game even worse.
