doesn't really matter, does it. The main thing is that memberships should be extended when website is unusable. Supporters pay for play time, certainly not for offline time !
It does. If it's counted in minutes then it's reasonable for supporter to be refunded for every delay. But if it's counted in days, meaning that the counter ends at 12am, how the hell is BB suppose to refund you? extend it by one day just for a 1 hour delay? Unless they take the site off for 24 hours every delay, or else I can't see the reason for an extension. Though if they shut the site for 24 hours it's only reasonable that the supporter is extended for everyone.
Well, in that case, there is still a solution and it is this :
every time the website is down, you count the number of minutes it was down. So let's say on day 1, website was down 60 min, and on day 15 website was down 120 minutes. So that already makes a total sum of 180 minutes offline time. You just keep counting the minutes every time the site is down, and once they reach 1440 minutes, all memberships get extended with 1 day. So each time the total number of minutes passes a multiple of 1440, memberships get extended with one day.
It's as simple as that, really.
Anyway, what i wanted to make clear is that there is always a solution to this problem, no matter if they count in minutes, in days, in season or whatever. So please, next time think for a minute before you post a reaction, because no matter how they count the memberships, there is always a possible solution to this problem.
But until now, they have never extended any membership. It's only fair and logical to extend the memberships if there was enough offline time.l
