If i buy a player from my my counrty rival NT team, and force someone in the other countries community to buy him so that he wont retire, Will i be fined?

Can you please rephrase that. I can't work out what you are asking.

Ah fair enough. I didn't understand.

Yes, about this thread... It seems contradictory but I don't really want to encourage Day Trading, but I think if there were many Day Traders, it would remove the negative effect of day trading a bit, due to the balance of the economy.

There's that or the fact that it attracts the attention of the BB gods and they do more to reduce it.

So you're going to spend your own hard earned $$$$ to buy a guy that obviously has a lot of value, then threaten to fire the guy if you don't get your asking price? Even though he'd obviously have value to you and your team?

Personally, I'd be calling your bluff on that one if you tried it. But good luck to you.

u r right

but their stupidity really sabotages our national teams

& u r also right about the cheaper players being a factor

good national teams have players worth millions so only good managers get them

barbados often has players selling for $3-500k who end up in the hands of morons

Same reason Intel tries to smash AMD. Even weak competition is competition...

Day trading is a tough thing to do in BB. Mostly because of the high 20 or 21 % fee you have to pay if you sell the player immediately. Plus, BB's new rules made it impossible for players to be sold until you pay at least 1 week of salary.

Let's say you buy a player who costs $100k and his salary is $10k a week. You have to sell him for $135k just to break even. If you want to make a good profit, you have to sell him for much more. And that is not easy in the ever declining transfer market. You need to be very lucky.

On the bidding part, I think 3 minutes before the deadline is the best time to bid. Bidding 10 second before the end will add 3 more minutes on the clock, meaning more time for other managers to spot this player.
