Yes there is.
In D.V and higher, only the league champion gets promoted. Sucks, I know. I made it to the finals last season before getting steamrollered by a juggernaut.

Your are going to promote. You don't even have to win your league. If you finish 21-1 or 22-0 like i believe you are going to you will promote though bot cleanup. I'm about 95% sure that if you finish with 21 or 22 wins in the regular season you will promote. Try to win your league though. It will feel better to promote through winning your league, but bot cleanup with work as well if you just want to make it to IV. league and dont care how it happens.

Note that in order for a team to be in a position to promote by bot clean up, they must win their conference. Only the conference winners who do not win their league outright are in a realistic position to promote by bot clean up. After that, I think W-L records of 22-0, 21-1, and 20-2 have bot cleanup promoted in the last couple seasons.
But, winning your league outright is also beneficial, as I believe there is a large season ticket holder boost for winning the championship that doesn't happen for bot promoted teams.

In addition to Tangosz's post it good to have a high point differental about 850+. That how I got up with a 20-2 record.

Yes I realize that he has to win his conference, but he should have no problem doing that considering he crushed every single team on his side. The only team tat can compete with him is the 7-0 team on the other side, so i believe the worst he could finish is 21-1. If he fails to go at least 21-1 then he doesn't deserve to promote in my opinion.

My response wasn't just for him, it was for other people reading this who are interested in the bot promotion process.

Consider getting a National Appeal PR manager for the game against Gophers.

You should focus on managing the minutes, too.
Your best players shouldn't be playing scrimmages but getting around 60' in regular games (that is, twice starters in easily won games or once starter + once ou twice subs in a week).
You could give 48' as a guard to three of your (many) youngsters to train them at best, too.
