i got bad experienced with slow tactics, because normally my players got so slow that they take a a bad shot at the end of the 24 seconds.
So the FG percentage must not be better, but when you got the right team or opponent this could be(for example you could look at citb, who response here too, who plays pretty often and succesfull slow tactics for an bad example you could look at my scrimmage).
