I'm truly focusing on the Power Forward because he has shown more potential than a starter in games


All potential does is sets a cap, after which training slows down considerably. Starter potential is generally accepted as not being worth the effort to train because they can't develop very far at all. for example, if your guy were trained to prominent (10) in Inside Shot, Inside Defense and Rebounding, he could already have reached his cap - and that's not factoring in any other pops. The PG, on the other hand, does have room to grow quite a bit, but he'd need a lot of outside defense.
