As he's an allstar, I wouldn't train too much Jump shot and Rebounding as those two eat too much potential of a SF. I'd concentrate on guard skills the next few seasons since you already have two of those and use this rotation:

2 weeks Pressure for PG (for Outside defense)
2 weeks 1 on 1 for Forwards

And you do this until his OD is 13. Depending on what you want for your other two trainees, you can swap one 1 on 1 week for Passing or Jump shot. But in order to be an effective SF for his potential and salary, he needs a lot of 1 on 1 for Forwards.

After you're done with your guards training, you can start with his ID which should be 11-12.

Then you round him out with a bit of RB (max 9) and JS (max 10). With these skills:ž

10, 7
13, 14
15, 8
12, 12
8, 7

He didn't even touch the allstar potential, so you can train him more in skills you like. You just have to know that for each pop in primary skill (especially RB, JS...) you can get 3-4 pops in secondary skills (HA, DR, PA, IS).

I´ve got this guy,

Weekly salary: $ 4 193

Age: 18
Height: 6'2" / 188 cm
Potential: perennial allstar

Jump Shot: average Jump Range: pitiful
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: respectable
Driving: average Passing: average
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: inept Free Throw: awful

He is great, 60 in skillset not counting FT and ST, although a bit potential short.

Problem is that I will be training forwards 1vs1 all the season long and I think maybe he will lose part of his value if I don´t train OD, ID, etc.

What do you guys think. Do I try to sell him or go on training til better occasion?

Should I just repeat what koperby said? Because he's absolutely right that this guy is a good SF prospect, better so than a SG or PG.

If possible, I would sell. Unless he would be able to get 48+ minutes for SF/PF during the weeks you train 1v1, he would just be wasted talent.

1 on 1 for forwards is actually a great training for this guy. He will get pops in IS every 3-4 weeks because he is short and this will also create a slight positive elastic effect for the ID. Because of his potential, low JR and height, I think he is a great prospect for either an inside guard or a versatile SF on offense and SG on defense.

1 on 1 for forwards will also make a great elastic effect for OD and PA. If you are training 1 on 1 for F this whole season he may get to 10 or even to 11 in inside shot.

You are tough to please, aren't you? I didn't give you my opinion, but the facts, backed up with experience as a U21 coach. If that's not enough for you, then please don't follow my advice, but learn yourself what works and what doesn't. When you come to same conclusions at the end, maybe you will learn that sometime it's better to use someone else's experience than going through same process yourself and lose a lot of time for something you've been handed on a silver platter in the first place.

Great obeservations!

Thank´s for the advice, there were many things I wasn´t really counting on.

I have a doubt regarding this:

He will get pops in IS every 3-4 weeks because he is short

I thought that when taliking about IS the taller the better... how come being shorter is better for this training?

For sure I will give him the 48minutes, or at least try to do it... he is the best prospect I´ve ever had in the game! :D

My doubt was more about: how am I gone get more money? selling the guy right now or training him 1vs1 forwards for the season?

after thinking quite a bit about it, I will probably get more money training him.
