I'm not sure I understand your training at all,
is that SF the only trainee you're working on?
1 on 1 can be trained with between 3 and 6 players every week
you really can do a whole lot better in terms of age, potential and amount of trained players
would make your team better faster
At least for this week why not dress both 18 year olds in the scrimmage at SF & PF
and train them both

That's assuming that he was my only trainee, and the only game he could play was a scrimmage.

It's a fairly simply answer. I didn't have the money to buy another quality rookie at the beginning of the year until about 14-15 games into the season and then i found it to be better to just train him and look at getting another rookie next season with my promotion money. And im not just training him. Through his 4 weeks of pressure training for PG my 25 year old PG popped up to phenomenal outside D, so i found that to be pretty helpful. My 24 year old SG/SF also popped in driving and inside shot a couple of weeks ago so I am training other players they just aren't the young ones that people tend to suggest. I am also training 1v1 for forwards because although i do not have "3-6 player"s" to train for that, It still gets me quality pops in 4 different skills which is nice and the U21 manager of this players nation suggested me to get his driving and inside shot up higher, so that is the quickest way. I apologize if this upsets you.

Doesn't upset me at all just seems a waste
also makes no sense
If he's the only guy that matters,
just have him back up at SF in the scrimmage and he'll have his 48 minutes
this whole exercise has been a waste

No-one's holding a gun to your head, forcing you to write. OR... if they are, try to communicate with us via code, and we'll have the Mounties there to save your butt pronto!

Sarcasm aside, either help... or don't. But don't offer help/advice then complain about doing so.

Not complaining
just trying to figure out what he's doing
he's training 1 guy and he has 2 minutes to go and wonders if he should change training
when all he needs is 2 more minutes in a scrimmage
or is there another guy
if there's not than this thread has indeed been a waste
If you have read any of my other posts elsewhere than you know what you are accusing me of is something I don't do.
Now off to the code shop with you to figure it all out

I'm simply commenting on the post you made - neither making accusations nor trying to antagonize you (which is why I put the gun-to-the-head/mounties bit in there!). You made a good suggestion, just the last line wasn't really necessary. Whether he does follow your (and that of others) advice, it's given him something to think about. Definitely not a waste.
