Aside from the 2 October 2011 signings... here's when i got my players:

Starting PG...Season 14
Backup PG... Season 14
Starting SG... Season 10
Backup SG... Season 11
Backup SF... Season 7
Backup PF... Season 15
Starting C... Season 16
Backup C... Season 13

11th & 12th players... Season 8 & Season 12.

(With 4 injuries to starters + 2 more injuries to backups in last season's playoffs, players 11 & 12 really mattered for once. literally had my season riding on them.)

Likewise, I've been 4.5-5 since the middle of last season or so. I've made a few transactions- I bought my starting center at the beginning of last year, and acquired a backup PG/SG at the end of the season, and traded him in before this year. It's built up gradually. I think winning may help move it along as well.

I've never, ever been higher than 1.5 stars in all my seasons. I decided a long time ago that if you want to promote and continue building a better more competitive roster that it was the one thing on the fan survey that should be ignored.
