Why is this tactic hardly ever used? I tried it out in a PL game and had ratings that were just as good as the ones I get from Look Inside, so is there something else that is different than the pacing that I'm not seeing? I just don't understand why there Look Inside is so much more popular than Low Post...

I think a lot of the players have been built over the years so that they look better in LI over LP, especially the perimeter players. But the offenses are similar enough that many people would likely get similar results.

I would think this requires better PA in general for the team (which is a bit more difficult) and since this strat focuses more on feeding your C and PF the ball it doesn't do as well in the day and age where all big men have insanely high ID SB and RB

I used to play LP quite a lot in previous seasons
My feeling is:
If your guards can score and your bigs can`t but have the good passing--that is tactic for you

I have a team where my SG and SF can score real well. My PF and C though cant score if so their life depended on it but they can pass. Are you saying that LP would be a fitting offense for me?
Seems like the last offense i would chose.

Me too, but perhaps I was misunderstanding how the offense works. I haven't used it in a few seasons.

If this is this case, LP must put your best matchup(s) in the post regardless of position and if those players are perimeter players, having bigs that can pass the ball inside from the perimeter are necessary. Does it really work this way?

Bigs that can pass and handle increase the offensive flow, making the offense work at its best. From what I've seen with my team, the guards that have higher JS/JR take almost twice as many jumpers and threes than they do inside shots and drives. The other guards with lower JR or JS/JR take more drives and inside shots than they do jumpers and threes.

On the other hand, my bigs fluctuate between drives/inside shots and jumpers/threes. Some have close amounts with both categories, while others have a considerably higher amount of drives and inside shots. My SFs are close to equal with both categories.

Three of my players, for example:

SG- 11 JS, 10 JR, 9 DR, 9 PA, 4 IS. Shooting 16-50 from three.
PF - 9 JS, 4 JR, 7 DR, 7 PA, and 10 IS. Shooting 2-11 from three.
C - 8 JS, 5 JR, 6 DR, 4PA and 10 IS. Shooting 7-18 from three.

I hope this answers your question.

Sorry but I'm not sure what any of this has too do with my question.

My feeling is:
if your bigs can't score, they will pass.
Therefore your guards will probably shoot as catch and shooters, so they don't need high driving, so that will cost you less:
Your bigs shouldn't be inside scoring freaks
and your guards don't need extreme driving and handling skills= less salary

p.s. all team should have good passing skills

But don't JS (and JR) which are needed for shooting take up a lot of salary? Also doesn't PA take a decent amount too?

Don`t get me wrong,
I`m talking about cheaper balanced players:
with skills spreaded across and not concentrated in just few major skills.
Multi skilled players play better cost cheaper

Of coarse if you want better skills please pay more ;-)
you can`t have something for nothing,

however better to invest money with
bigger profit:
Don`t buy monoskilled donkeys -- use multiskilled
If you don`t have them--train your players to build your dream team :-)
