With this sort of logic, in 10 seasons, there will be no good veterans who were trained to buy. Someone has to train them.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

You have to look at it like this ... You have numerous options all based on what your goal is for your team. Here are some ..

If you want to promote:

You can use the money from that trainer and buy some veterans and promote

Or

You could Train a player for some seasons and make him into whatever of your need or preference and promote

If your just playing around with the GE:

You could train players out of position and figure things out about the elastic effect

Or

Build a player for your NT

Or

You could flip players ( Buy a 18 year old with 7+ potential for 50k .... 4-6 seasons later you can sell him for a 500k )]

In the end it just depends on what your ultimate goal is for your team . Btw there is no FINANCIAL benefit for training players , well atleast not one you will notice.

Love. I just want to find a 5/5 draftee and watch him grow into the centerpiece of my franchise and my NT. I will give him minutes every week and we will watch sunsets together.

5 reasons why buzzerbeater trainees are better than girlfriends:

1. Girls dump you. A trainee will always be there when you get home.
2. If your trainee is bad at something, you can train him. If your girl is bad at something, you better don't mention it, and just "accept her for who she is".
3. It's not easy to have multiple girlfriends. You can have 3 trainees, and sometimes even 6.
4. Your trainee doesn't get upset if you check the transfer list for other trainees.
5. A girl wants shoes, clothes, makeup, magazines, more shoes and a tiny handbag. A trainee just wants 48 minutes.

Lies. If they just wanted 48 minutes they wouldn't foul out. They just in it for the money

If a trainee isn't good at ball handling, he won't be offended if you tell him that.

There's the fun aspect of training your own players as other people have touched on, but the financial side is probably up for debate.

In my opinion, and I'm not much more than a novice at BB, I believe that training can be very profitable if you train well and don't pay too high a salary to your trainer. I think it also depends a lot on your league situation. If you're in a league where you can ensure players get 48 minutes but still win a lot of games, therefore getting 4+ on fan survey and drawing in the crowds, then training has to be very profitable. I'm currently in a situation like that. At higher levels of course training could seriously impact performance, and then you could only speculate as to how much you lost through training 3 players @ 48 minutes for example.
