I agree. Damian Lillard entered NBA as a 22y old and he won the Rookie award. Had he entered a few years earlier, his game wouldn't have such impact in the NBA. If not for skills, 19y olds should have at least few more pops in experience, like Awful or even Inept.

I'm not against the current system. 19y olds are not useless for lower leagues, and can be easily capped out(salary efficiently) at lower potentials.

If someone wants a top notch trainee, just forget about the 19y olds.

I'm not against the elimination of them either, though. Simply making all the draftees 18y would be a good solution, but it would make the game somewhat more robotic.
